Last April, brand new superyacht Aziza was christened at the ISA Yachts yard in Ancona. After a moving speech by the owner, in which he expressed his pride to be part of the ISA-family and thanking them for having always treated him and his crew with respect, professionalism, accuracy and commitment, elegant Aziza was ready to take on the waves. Along with Andrea Vallicelli Design for the exterior designs, and an in-house ISA Yachts team responsible for all interior designs and naval architecture, the owners were highly involved in the process of building Aziza. The result is an impressive, personal and exquisite superyacht that combines contemporary elegance with a touch of futuristic class.
At 41 metre LOA, Aziza's exterior looks are undeniably sportive, with the smooth curves and confident silhouette of a modern classic superyacht. Upon boarding, this sense of sportive style is matched with an elegant modern lightness that feels instantly welcoming.
Starting with the main deck lobby, Aziza boasts a generous yet delicate modern style, consisting of a light natural colour scheme, sharp contemporary lines and an overall ambiance of ample natural light, subtle luxury materials and a soft grace that is simply becoming.
The main lobby houses the main staircase, which connects all decks and functions as a connective hub between the main saloon and the lush master quarters fore. With open tread steps, glass partitioning and backlit onyx, plus graceful zen-like fountains offering a relaxing addition to the already soothing ambiance, the main lobby is a great introduction to the type of style and grace Aziza offers.
The main saloon consists of two areas, with an intimate lounging lobby aft and a contemporary glamorous dining room fore. The open-plan saloon is spacious yet cozy, with a colour palette of white, beige and brown that gives the sleek and angular modern shapes a soft, warm look. The lounge offers a big, dramatic adjustable sofa, with snake skin upholstery, placed opposite a big flat screen television.
There is a cozy sense of privacy to be enjoyed here, pleasantly contrasting with the more panoramic dining area. Here, surrounded by large windows and with a large, oval, glass-topped table, modern white leather and stainless steel dining chairs and a curvy sofa, dining in Aziza's main dining area is all about contemporary elegance and light luxury. With the large sofa, it's easy to imagine the dining room also functioning as a formal lounge.
All guest areas onboard Aziza offer a pleasantly consistent use of style and materials, with flat cabinetry, printed leathers, flamed wood flooring and striped bulkheads as just some of the many familiar features. Outside, the aft deck offers great views, spacious ambiance and a big U-shaped cockpit accompanied by a big aft sun pad. Overall, this deck is a great banquette and informal reception area. Below, a big swimming platform and spacious beach club can be found, with a variety of watersports equipment at guests' disposal.
Moving fore, a long corridor, connecting a wardrobe, stateroom and en suite, functions as entrance to the master quarters. This master suite ups the stakes even more with regards to elegance and glamour, specifically with the spacious en suite. Here, a crisp white, large oval bathtub is paired with a delightfully shimmering mosaic of mother-of-pearl in a variety of different shades for the walls, warm wooden flooring and a gentle lighting scheme. With his and hers wash basins, large separate steam shower area, designed in black Belgian marble, and separate heads, the en suite has a distinct luxurious feel while retaining Aziza's poise of subtle grace.
The master stateroom feels light and warm, modern and cozy, with subtly patterned headboards, white panelled walls and ceilings, and a sleek lighting scheme. This full beam stateroom, with panoramic windows, office areas and big flatscreen television, offers a cozy ambiance with a distinct feeling of privacy. A generously sized walk-in wardrobe perfectly completes the master suite's collection of luxuries.
Exquisite detailing, such as underlit hanging rails and cedar wood lining found in the wardrobe, are an important part of Aziza's zen-like ambiance, Everywhere onboard, there is a pleasantly welcoming sense of calm, a soothing modern style that looks cool and feels warm.
Belowdecks, three additional guest suites and a gym can be found. The guest suites, two doubles and one twin, are all equally well appointed, stylishly designed and offering a great sense of modern hospitality. Subtle luxury materials, such as black Belgian marble for the en suites, natural colours and contemporary shapes all blend together to offer every guest sleek and stylish accommodations. A fourth guest suite is converted into the gym, with large windows and a full collection of Technogym equipment, upgraded air conditioning, and offering everything to keep active and fit.
Upstairs, a grand and informal upper saloon is combined with a lush aft deck, to form a perfect environment for stylish entertaining, luxurious lounging and elegant relaxing. With a big, plush L-shaped sofa and a bar area as key ingredients, this sky lounge is all about lightness, finesse and soft modern style. Large panoramic windows allow the flow of ample natural light, framing the room's natural colour palette and chic modern style. Opening the semicircular glass sliding doors aft, a big aft deck is uncovered, with a big al fresco dining and lounging area, furnished in a slightly more classic style. Fore, a panoramic Portuguese deck offers wonderful vista views and a big yet cozy cockpit for guests to enjoy at every moment of the day.
Moving up, the grand sun deck perfectly completes Aziza's impressive collection of luxury and amenities. As always, guests are treated to a stylish and generous environment, with big sun pads accompanied by large parasols and a fully equipped bar fore, a round central dining area, including Teppanyaki grill, covered by romantic starry lights, and even more sun pads arranged around a big Jacuzzi, including a high-topped bar, aft. In all, an impressive and complete sun deck that combines great style, a luxurious ambiance and perfect guest comfort.
A wonderfully cozy and intimate beach club available on the swimplatfrom, perfect for enjoying a drink. After having an invigorating swim, just lie back and take in the magnificent views.
