The 180 metre Azzam on her maiden voyage
The 180 metre Azzam was delivered by Lürssen in October 2013, however, she remained at the yard until last week. The reason is not quite clear, but one explanation could be that her owner first wanted to complete her berth in Abu Dhabi, where her owner is from. Last week, she embarked on her maiden voyage, and she arrived in Gibraltar on saturday, where Giovanni Romero took this photo of her.
