Victory Design’s Bolide 80 promises a top speed of +70 knots and is in-build

The Napoli-based Victory Design has announced an all-new high-performance series, dubbed Bolide. The Italian studio is already busy constructing the 24-metre Bolide 80, in collaboration with Persico Marine and under supervision by Eugenio Voltolina. Details of the 50-metre Bolide 170, the flagship of the series, will be presented at 2022 Monaco Yacht Show.Bolide 170 yacht exterior design The Bolide 80 is being built out of GRP, with custom reinforcements by Microtex and structural cores by Diab. She’s designed for performance and will be equipped with MAN diesel engines that deliver a thunderous 55 knots cruising speed and 75 knots top speed. Her hull has been engineered in-house at Victory Design and has been combined with the patented T-Drive by Flexitab & TS propulsion system with composite flaps. The vision was to create a yacht with the same feel and performance as a supercar. Victory Design opted for carbon and leather detailing through and soft marbles will be found in the ensuites. Bolide 170 yacht exterior design The flagship of the series, which will be presented this week at Monaco Yacht Show, follows the same vision and is expected to reach speeds of up to 50 knots – 70 knots for those that opt for the hybrid variant. She’s said to offer plenty of interior space, which is imbued with luxury and class.
