Like a great white shark leaping out of the waters of South Africa, the M/Y White Shark creates an equally powerful (although decidedly less threatening) white silhouette as it cuts through its European waters. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125173/image/large-be86802a910c7baeca5842d3e446dc38.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125173"><img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125174/image/large-9a7db02c238cf1451c74e030b2628100.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125174"> <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125175/image/large-c82db5cf13a7cbfc7b88123f3777b82b.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125175">Unveiled at the Palma Boat Show on the island of Mallorca in May 2008, the White Shark is a semi-customized flybridge adaptation of the new Johnson 105. The vessel was presented alongside the Johnson 77, a smaller yacht which was also constructed by the Taiwanese shipyard, Johnson Yachts. The White Shark is the first Johnson 105 to grace the seas of Europe, thanks to European distributor Avantgarde. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125176/image/large-0e335977be3e92d06da8321fdaa34217.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125176"> <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125177/image/large-f220481f2e9c688c3f8131c20aaac270.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125177"> Johnson Yachts is constructing Johnson 105’s per the specifications of the customer, with an available skylounge and a choice of three, four, or five cabins, as well as accommodations for four crew members. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125178/image/large-70e7c5f247e66d38cb199c3cbe4ec987.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125178">Designers Dixon Yacht Design and interior designer Norbert Jansen of Düsseldorf, Germany’s Jansen Architekten created a yacht that is both classical and modern. The White Shark features glossy Canadian cherry hardwood floors and tables, black granite countertops, white sofas and chairs, and Italian design linens in muted earth tones. The sofas are Poltrano Frau, and the lamps are by Philippe Starck and Porta Romana. The interiors can be customized, however, for the taste of the individual buyer. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125179/image/large-a0c759d63a50381758375f0c89b0f792.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125179">Jansen has created a salon area that looks more like a comfortable hotel lounge than a yacht space. It diverts slightly from the design theme with a soft black sofa, animal skin rug, and low black coffee table. The dining table seats a dozen guests, who can be entertained with a bar, sink, refrigerator, barbecue, and a separate refrigerator especially for wine. Guests can lounge in an asymmetrical Jacuzzi or on the U-shaped sofa. Four en suite double cabins are located on the accommodation deck, two of which contain twin beds, although one includes a Pullman bed for a third guest. One of the VIP cabins includes a full-sized platform cherry wood bed and additional sitting area, as well as separate his and hers bathrooms and a connecting shower for two with glass doors. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125187/image/large-4f9f46627ccc8d9c366265568b2ddb87.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125187">The bi-level master cabin on the main deck is the picture of luxury. From the bed, the guests have spectacular 180-degree views. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125188/image/large-10c6a162d51a66a67f04a039f0d6a92f.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125188">Four white and cherry wood stairs lead down to the exceptionally generous bathroom in the bow area. The bath features a jet-stream shower and curved cherry wood vanity with white his and hers sinks and a black granite countertop. The master cabin also has plenty of room for clothing and incidentals in two large cherry wood wardrobes. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125189/image/large-e2022cec4f69c62b54db39af0693ef37.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125189">Each of the two crew cabins has its own bathroom, and the crew area contains a dining table and cooking area.
