New 32 metre superyacht design from Turkey

Baris Yurek of Baris Yurek Naval Architecture and Yacht Design has send us some interesting renderings of a vessel that wasn't designed to be a superyacht, but that could easily become a luxury yacht. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/139071/image/large-059700f53fa0ef3ab9f6f209859329a9.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/139071">Project Istanbul was designed for a Turkish Tourism Company to be a VIP Tour Boat for short cruises on the Bosphorus. The steel vessel has an aluminium superstructure, clad in bronze tinted glass, and measures 65 metres. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/139072/image/large-0603fc6528daa056d774f4c7d6cbd003.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/139072">Baris commented "The design vessel is still in the preliminary stage, and we haven't finilized the engineering studies, however, this Art-Deco styled vessel can easily be arranged as a yacht". Vintage styled yachts are slowly gaining popularity. The 90 metre <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/523">Nero</a> was built in 2007, and the 47 metre <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/947">Vajoliroja</a>, owned by a Hollywood superstar, is a beautiful 2001 classically styled motor yacht. Bilgin Yachts are currently building <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Article/38507">two retro-styled yachts</a>, and Blohm &amp; Voss released <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Article/35141">plans</a> for an even larger retro project.
