Bellagio Yachts

Bellagio Yachts in the Netherlands has made considerable progress on Bellagio over the past months together with Vripack and Mulder Shipyard. Naturally, the design is required to fit in with the appearance and quality demands of Mulder Shipyard. “We selected the main elements of Bellagio very carefully,” Pim Dijksman from the Vripack Design Studio says. “The yacht has a tremendously long foreship and a small and low sporty wheelhouse with an elegantly sloping stern. When coming up with this design we found inspiration in the early sports cars that were developed in the interwar period.” “While Bellagio's design is firmly rooted in this classic foundation, it is also refined with modern influences,” Marnix Hoekstra from Vripack adds. “At Vripack, we were careful to do this without relying too much on the many contemporary trends". Bellagio is being built in aluminium, allowing her weight to be kept to a minimum. She will be able to reach speeds of around 30 knots with the planned propulsion system of twin Volvo IPS600 engines, while an optional third engine would give her a potential top speed of 40 knots.
