In 2020, the four-deck yacht completed a transformational refit at the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/23" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lürssen Yachts (Company)">Lürssen</a> facility in Hamburg. Better known under her former identity as Tis, the once blue-hulled superyacht designed by Winch is now finished in a light beige paint scheme. She took her original name from the legendary ship that carried Charles Darwin on his global expeditions. She served the Royal Navy up until 2002 when she was sold to be converted into a luxury superyacht. The conversion was completed in 2005 and the vessel was renamed Titan&nbsp;and launched as the superyacht explorer we see today. Bjorn Johansson was in charge of redesigning the yacht’s interior to carry up to 24 guests in 12 staterooms. She might have been given a new purpose, but Titan retains all her ocean-going capabilities such as an impressive range of 6,000 nm, making her the perfect travel companion at sea.Photo by SuperYacht Times

2010, was a good year for Adriel Design, Inc. Last spring Northcoast Yachts successfully launched the NCY 125, a 38m superyacht fit with a beautiful Adriel Design interior.
