Originally announced as a new 100m+ project in April 2022, we are now able to share the first exclusive images of the 114.1-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/3779" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Dörries Yachts (Company)">Dörries Yachts</a> superyacht Arwen, previously known as Project ELF. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/308296/image/large-df4294744c97837442d77082628b4eec.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/308296">Exterior and interior design is owed to US based design firm <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7641" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Pindaros (Company)">Píndaros</a>, assisted by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7642" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Champeau & Wilde (Company)">Champeau Wilde</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5025" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Andy Waugh Yacht Design (Company)">Andy Waugh</a>. While naval architecture has been completed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/37" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture (Company)">Azure</a>. The yacht, which is due for launch in 2026 is set to be a head-turner, with a sleek and modern exterior design and a highly technological specification. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/308298/image/large-7c04707c75fad849d570f771f9286cf4.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/308298">Her exterior features a sharp, inverted bow and her profile is punctuated by bow to stern glazing on the main and upper decks that will flood her interior with light. With a 4,950 GT of volume, Arwen features a spacious interior including an owner's stateroom of 290 square-metres and a 190 square-metre main saloon. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/308297/image/large-5d68650fdb983669ec90639d1f76032a.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/308297">Top features aboard the yacht include a 20-metre swimming pool located on her main deck, 13.2-metres of which can be hydraulically raised, transforming the pool into a deck area that is ideal for entertaining guests. The styling is contemporary and warm and a mezzanine level offers access to the upper deck where the owner's suite is located. The owner's expansive suite includes a lounge, office, stateroom and twin bathrooms with adjoining dressing rooms. Her fluid spaces use elegant materials that define a new approach to luxury. For her exterior, the owner sought the expertise of designer <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Tim Heywood Design Ltd. (Company)">Tim Heywood</a>, while the interior design, shrouded in secrecy over a decade post-launch, was skillfully curated by the British designer <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Terence Disdale Design (Company)">Terence Disdale</a>.&nbsp;

According to <a href="https://sytiq.superyachttimes.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="">SYT iQ</a>, in 2023, the used superyacht market experienced a notable decline of -33% in the sale of yachts measuring 24-metres or more, with only 487 yachts sold, compared to the 725 sold in the previous year. This is also a further decrease compared to the number of yachts sold in 2021 which was 944 and 600 in 2020.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/296316/image/large-736bb7e797b1bf4185406a3fe8999f84.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/296316">Jan Jaap Minnema of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/158" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Fraser (Company)">Fraser</a> commented: “although it seems dramatic, we all know that in this business, we have to have a broader perspective, and look at periods over five years or more to put it all in perspective. I am not very worried and have seen markets up and down the last 20 years many times. Again, off market deals are excluded.This reflects a 100 percent increase in the total value of the top five most expensive used yachts sold in 2023. Mind you, if we include off-market deals as well, the value of the five largest used yachts sold in 2023 versus the five largest in 2022 is still up year-on-year by a more modest 56 percent, from about €700 million in 2022 to about €1.1 billion in 2023.Moreover, with many new-build slots already booked until 2026/2027, particularly for the larger yachts, there's a notable trend of more Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs) investing additional capital in acquiring used superyachts. This trend is reflected in the average volume for this year, which stands at 352 gross tonnes (GT) compared to 300 GT in 2022. In 2023, the used superyacht market experienced a notable decline of -33% in the sale of yachts measuring 24 metres or more.

Did you initially start with interior design and then expand your expertise to include exterior design?In the early stages of my career I was primarily focused on interior design and my expansion into exterior design happened somewhat by chance. In 1999, I was skilled at creating virtual renderings. It was during this time that <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5678" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Luciano Di Pilla Design (Company)">Di Pilla</a> expressed the need for someone to develop renderings that represent his ideas. As our collaboration evolved, he noticed that I had an eye for colours and materials, and suggested I venture into interior design on my own. Driven by my interest, I started creating interior renderings independently. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5678" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Luciano Di Pilla Design (Company)">Di Pilla</a> then started to encourage me to expand in exterior design renderings, even though he himself was not involved in that aspect. Around 2001, my skills in exterior design further developed when <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Tim Heywood Design Ltd. (Company)">Tim Heywood</a> came to <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5678" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Luciano Di Pilla Design (Company)">Di Pilla</a> to provide consulting on a 70-metre project. I spent some time with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Tim Heywood Design Ltd. (Company)">Tim</a> and enjoyed learning from him and working in exterior design.&nbsp;Could you share the story of founding&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4663" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="VYD Studio (Company)">VYD Studio</a>&nbsp;and how the firm has evolved over the years?I established <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4663" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="VYD Studio (Company)">VYD Studio</a> in 2015 with the primary aim of forming partnerships with shipyards to bring our design projects to life. Our journey began with refits on smaller yachts, including a 25-metre sailing yacht. Then in 2016, we collaborated with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/752" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Mengi Yay Yachts (Company)">Mengi Yay</a> on a concept, and by 2017 were initiated our first full-project, the interior and exterior design of the 43.69-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6838" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Tatiana V43.69m (143'4&quot;)Mengi Yay Yachts2019">Tatiana V</a>, delivered in 2019. Subsequently, we penned the exterior of the 35.5-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/7873" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sea Star35.5m (116'6&quot;)Mengi Yay Yachts2020">Sea Star</a>, delivered in 2020.In 2017, we started to work with the Chinese shipyard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/54" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Heesen Yachts (Company)">Heysea</a>. Our first project encompassed both interior and exterior design for the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2561" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Heysea Yachts (Company)">Heysea</a> Asteria 142 series. The project's first unit was the 42.27-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6625" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Song of Songs42.27m (138'8&quot;)Heysea Yachts2022">Song of Songs</a>, delivered in 2022. Currently, we remain actively involved in the design of the second and third units, each measuring 43.27-metres in length, in addition to overseeing the production of two lines of catamarans and a 35-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2561" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Heysea Yachts (Company)">Heysea</a> yacht.In 2019, we then partnered with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2360" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ocean King (Company)">Ocean King</a> for the exterior and interior design of the 36.8-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2360" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ocean King (Company)">Ocean King</a> <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/8690" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Vãyus36.8m (120'9&quot;)Ocean King2023">Vãyus</a>, which saw its launch this year. 2023 stands as our most successful year to date, with six yachts ranging from 37 to 47-metres and originating from three different continents and tailored to unique and discerning owners.&nbsp;For a designer, one pivotal moment holds paramount importance, the first launch. The outcome of this inaugural project can make or break a career. A successful launch, indicating the creation of a high-quality product, paves the way for career progression. A less favourable outcome can pose significant challenges.In the case of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4663" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="VYD Studio (Company)">VYD Studio</a>, we have substantially developed and grown since 2017, following our successful first launch, which subsequently has led to our involvement in a total of 12 projects.&nbsp;Could you please share the origins of your collaboration with&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/752" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Mengi Yay Yachts (Company)">Mengi Yay</a>&nbsp;and any upcoming projects you have in partnership with them?&nbsp;Our collaboration with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/752" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Mengi Yay Yachts (Company)">Mengi Yay</a> was facilitated by a mutual acquaintance, Lorenzo Cappugi. The collaborative synergy between <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4663" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="VYD Studio (Company)">VYD</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/752" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Mengi Yay Yachts (Company)">Mengi Yay</a> has consistently delivered successful superyacht projects, with the VIRTUS line being a notable example. This year along with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/10910" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ancora47.3m (155'2&quot;)Mengi Yay Yachts2023">Ancora</a>, we have launched the 39.43-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/10783" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Reverie39.43m (129'4&quot;)Mengi Yay Yachts2023">Reverie</a>, the 43.5-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/10784" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Gisa43.5m (142'9&quot;)Mengi Yay Yachts2023">Gisa</a>. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/292138/image/large-84050ed1045df7af367e2c1edcdb4f39.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/292138">Currently, we are expanding the Virtus series with the luxury explorer XP series, which was unveiled during <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Event/122" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Monaco Yacht Show - 2022">Monaco 2022</a>. Two 53-metre units are currently under construction, with scheduled delivery in 2025.To transform the design of the luxury explorer XP series into reality, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4663" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="VYD Studio (Company)">VYD</a> starts from the inside, perfecting and optimising the general arrangement (GA) to ensure a balanced and enjoyable yacht. Once the interior spaces are interconnected and well-conceptualised, we extend our design process to the exterior, creating a shell that not only contains but also enhances the interior innovations. The result is a vessel that combines the sturdiness and safety of an explorer yacht with the modernity and style of the Virtus Line, offering a "Luxury Explorer" experience.&nbsp;Key design features of this under 500 GT project include an owner's cabin on the upper deck with access to a private open deck with a pool, a permanent helideck, a spacious beach club with a pool directly connected to the sea through unfolding sea terraces, guest cabins on the main deck for optimised crew space on the lower deck, exterior areas that can be either open or enclosed through windshield glass and a substantial elevator connecting all decks.My most recent design with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/752" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Mengi Yay Yachts (Company)">Mengi Yay</a>, involves the construction of the 34.5-metre explorer yacht named Atlante Classic, with a scheduled delivery in 2025.Could you provide insights into recent emerging trends within the yacht industry?In the 1990s, many yacht owners had a limited understanding of the technical nuances, such as the differences between composite, steel, and aluminium as well as distinctions between displacement and semi-displacement hulls. However, the landscape has evolved significantly. Today, yacht owners tend to be more knowledgeable and proactive in their enquiries, thanks to factors like globalisation and easy access to information. Moreover, seasoned owners with four, five, or six vessels under their belts, now have a clearer vision of what they seek in the market. As a designer, my role now often extends beyond aesthetics. I frequently find myself engaged in discussions covering a range of topics, from generator engines and stabilisers to hull forms. While my primary focus is on design, I also delve into engineering discussions to address the intricate demands of modern yacht owners.The shift in preferences has been notable with speed no longer the exclusive focus. Instead, there is a growing emphasis on comfort, insulation, reduced noise, and the efficient utilisation of interior space.If you could purchase your own yacht or advise a client, is there one design feature you feel has the most impact on a luxurious experience onboard?<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/293785/image/large-e7f435a76ce10f5c1257686c9863647d.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/293785">The ideal onboard experience lies in the versatility of spaces. Specifically, areas like the sky lounge and saloon should be designed with a sense of adaptability. For instance, these spaces should be convertible so that, in the spring, you can enclose and control the internal climate, while in the summer, they can be fully open to the elements. This means that you can choose to keep them open during the day and, if needed, close them at night. The idea is to create flexibility in these spaces, avoiding rigidity.&nbsp;Moreover, I also appreciate the concept of neutral fixed furniture, walls, ceilings, and floors. This neutrality allows for the ease of updating and modernising the interior over the years by making changes to specific elements. This way, you can maintain a contemporary interior with minimal adjustments.Finally, any exciting projects or developments you would like to unveil? <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/293789/image/large-8eb136347b2ab818302ddabefe2031dd.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/293789">Besides our ongoing collaboration with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/752" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Mengi Yay Yachts (Company)">Mengi Yay</a>, we are also engaged in a venture with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7053" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cantieri Navali Tureddi (Company)">Tureddi Shipyard</a>. Furthermore, In recent months, we have been involved in another &nbsp;project: a spacious and truly sustainable catamaran. We view this vessel as a platform to explore innovative solutions and challenge the limits traditionally associated with multi-hull designs, particularly in terms of space and luxury.

In those days electronics engineers like me were trained to fault find right down to component level, and it was a time when the first satellite televisions were being introduced.. We were initially commissioned by P&amp;O to assist them with an issue they were having with their satellite systems, and I was sent in as the specialist to resolve the problem. Over time we became the service partner of choice for P&amp;O globally. I stepped away in 2011 as the offer of a “VP” position did not appeal to me (as I am an engineer).Ian: Unlike Steve, my background is as a chartered accountant. I trained at KPMG and later worked for the marine paint company <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6101" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Jotun (Company)">Jotun</a>, where I got my first taste of the yachting world. I received a call one day from a colleague at KPMG who asked if I'd be interested in talking to his client - ANT - who needed some urgent financial management. As Steve explained, I was parachuted in to help and we spent two years turning the business around before we were able to sell it in 2010, without having lost a single job in the process and making sure all our suppliers were paid in full.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/56134/image/large-45779bec54c61ebdb35ca13fc85c53b1.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/56134">So, you went from supplier to owner’s technology advisers, how did that transition occur and what was the catalyst for&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7185" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Smart Technology Advisers (Company)">SMART</a>?Steve: After leaving the business I semi-retired and was convinced I’d left yachting behind. I then received a call from a representative who had a big issue with a new build. There were contractual and financial issues within the proposed specification as well as numerous technical problems and they needed someone with expert knowledge of prices, timelines and technology to help resolve them. That project was Jubilee, now known worldwide as <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/4796" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Kaos110.1m (361'3&quot;)Oceanco2017">Kaos</a>. About a month into the project Ian came to visit and I explained what I was working on – like me Ian had sworn he’d never work on the supplier / integrator side again but working on the owner’s side had an immediate appeal.&nbsp;We decided to do the project together and run it as ethically and transparently as possible, taking it back to basics and stripping out the non-tangible costs that were running up budgets and timelines without any improvement in the technology being offered. The owner was extremely happy with the outcome, as was the broker who asked us to work on another new project and that was really the beginning of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7185" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Smart Technology Advisers (Company)">SMART</a>. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/193085/image/large-41efbf8cd5251ec5383375d1f614db29.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/193085"><a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7185" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Smart Technology Advisers (Company)">SMART</a>&nbsp;was seen as a bit of a disruptor in those early days, with its open book mentality and focus on ethics, can you explain a bit more about this?Steve: I suppose that in a way we were disruptive, but it wasn’t our intention to be so. When we founded <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7185" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Smart Technology Advisers (Company)">SMART</a>, a lot of the players in the sector were what we’d call a ‘consultant-plus’, i.e., they were both consultants and suppliers, consultants and integrators, consultants and investors. They had two priorities; one to the project’s owner and one to themselves, as they derived income elsewhere on the project to supplement their fees. We saw the opportunity to position <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7185" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Smart Technology Advisers (Company)">SMART</a> as the independent technology experts the owners and their representative were looking for.It was a hard sell in those early days, as no one in the industry believed we would commit to it. However, we have, and owners and their representatives return to us because they know we are open, honest and ethical in how we run our business, as well as being experts in technology.One of the key benefits this approach has is that we have been able to have unequalled access to manufacturers and regularly talk to them about their future developments, as we pose no commercial risk to them. We can say that because we have no partnerships or affiliations with any product or supplier, which means that we can approach every player in the sector (and a growing number now outside of superyachts where we’ve been able to bring their expertise into the sector for the first time) and they know they have the opportunity to present their best work to us.Ian: This ethical practice has been so ingrained in <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7185" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Smart Technology Advisers (Company)">SMART</a> from the very beginning. So much so that at the end of every year every member of staff has to declare that they have not received any additional benefits from working on any of our projects. Transparency is absolutely essential to our business and our staff are held to a very high standard.&nbsp;How do you stay at the forefront of technical innovation and development?Steve: As we mentioned above, because we don’t have any bias when it comes to technology, it enables us to approach any business in the sector and to have a candid discussion about future developments. We are often aware of R&amp;D years before a project becomes a reality, and this enables us to specify an onboard infrastructure commonly as far ahead as four years (or more), for products that may not even commercially exist yet!We also have a highly passionate team at <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7185" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Smart Technology Advisers (Company)">SMART</a>. Individuals like our first employee Tom, who along with the rest of the team have unequalled knowledge and understanding of the technology itself, and of future innovation. This often far outweighs both ours, the shipyard’s and our owner’s knowledge combined. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/70029/image/large-e0424d85fd889f8dc9d0fa00020f9196.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/70029">Ian: In a sense, we are able to future proof our projects from the very earliest stage. We don't have to have a difficult conversation in the final year of a build that the displays, audio system, control systems or a cinema are now outdated and need to be upgraded. In addition to providing the coolest and best solution to the owner, it also saves costs and enables us to virtually guarantee the end cost from the moment the contract is signed.What would you put the company’s success down to?Ian: Hard work, honesty, and a dedicated team with a genuine passion for technology. We expect everyone who comes to work for us to have these attributes. The ability to take a concept and / or a dream and turn it into reality for an owner is where we thrive. We get a lot of challenging projects, so employing people who are ready for a challenge, including the complexities that need to be delivered, keeps things exciting. An example is the 93-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/29" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Feadship (Company)">Feadship</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6204" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lady S93.0m (305'1&quot;)Feadship2019">Lady S</a>, where we were asked to help create the first ever IMAX accredited cinema to be placed on a private superyacht. Tom worked closely with the owners, their own specialist and with Dolby and IMAX themselves to design the initial concept with pen and paper and turn it into reality.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/274170/image/large-39da51c0e06c1077fc0311fcf9516e26.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/274170">In what ways do you work well together as a team at&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7185" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Smart Technology Advisers (Company)">SMART</a>?Ian: There are two parts; as co-founders we are each from different backgrounds, but we have a lot of respect for each other and value our opinions. We have a lot of trust. We used our past experiences of working together in the yachting industry to forge a company that was innovative from the very beginning which promotes an engaging and ever growing culture.Steve: As one owner succinctly put it, we have a great mix of “grey hairs” looking after the projects commercial and financial interests and a young hungry bunch of technology gurus that are driving the technology forward. It’s a great combination!Our ethos is driven by the idea that within the broader team at <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7185" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Smart Technology Advisers (Company)">SMART</a>, we succeed and fail together. Previously named Palladium, she was built at the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/3" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Blohm & Voss GmbH (Company)">Blohm &amp; Voss</a> shipyard in Germany and delivered in 2010. Her iconic lines were drawn by designer <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/25" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Michael Leach Design Ltd. (Company)">Michael Leach</a> who is also behind the luxurious interior of the yacht. The superyacht is known for her sculpted surfaces and arching design features that makes her instantly recognisable, along with her black and white colour tone. With a volume of 4,447 GT, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/14" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="AV95.15m (312'2&quot;)Blohm & Voss GmbH2010">AV</a> has accommodation for up to 24 guests across 11 staterooms, taken care of by a crew of 33. Constructed from steel and aluminium, she is powered by twin <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1409" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="MTU (Company)">MTU</a> diesel engines of 5,336 horsepower each, allowing her to cruise comfortably at 16 knots and reach a top speed of 19 knots.
