Moonen’s engineers will also perform maintenance and service works on the propulsion drive, which includes a controllable pitch propeller system. Superyacht Ciao returns to Moonen for winter refit

Over 160 participants attended the Italian stage of the 16th Azimut Benetti Yachtmaster event, held from 3 to 6 february at the Tombolo Talasso Resort in Tuscany. The event was the second in a series of three (the first having taken place in Asia in November 2015) Yachtmaster conferences with the aim to increase the company and its partner’s communication on a global scale.

Dynamic workshops were presented where participants could learn more about industry-relevant subjects. Coordinated and paneled by experts, the groups of participants were able to participate in rotation in all the different workshops. The four themes dealt with the fundamental issues of insurance, taxes, new environmental protection standards and new challenges in crew management. Benetti yacht captains were also interviewed, illustrating their experience in the various discussions.

16th Azimut Benetti Yachtmaster Italy a success

CMC launches new SE Integrated System at METS

The European Patent Office has officially and definitively accepted the CMC Marine European patent application request regarding electrical fin stabilization system, named Stabilis Electra. The patent has been issued for an "Automatic system for anti-roll stabilization of watercraft" and is valid for all the European countries, for a 20 years period. CMC Marine is now the only company authorized to produce, distribute and sell the above mentioned stabilization system within Europe, including the necessary custom protections. Since the introduction of the Stabilis Electra prototype at the Genoa Boat Show 2008 the market had responded positively. In early 2009, CMC Marine was awarded with the Qualitec Technology Award 2009 special mention and at the same time the first orders were given and in 2010 the first boat equipped with the Stabilis Electra, a Sanlorenzo 82, were launched. CMC Marine's Stabilis Electra, model 18BR-2X, has been awarded with the prestigious DAME 2011 Award. CMC Marine sells 20 Stabilis Electra systems in 12 months

CMC Marine will, in addition to presenting the complete range of their products, also exhibit the Stabilis Electra 16BR, the new model of electric actuator fin stabilizer.
