On fully custom yachts in particular, multiple design identities may be present, with the client ultimately acting as the point of convergence between them.This dynamic can be especially complex on technically driven yachts, where the underlying structure is intentionally functional. Elements such as garages, equipment storage and tender spaces introduce a distinctly operational character, while the interior brief often calls for a more refined environment. Managing that contrast is a central part of the design process.More broadly, this tension is reflected in current design tendencies.
