Surfaces with high reflectance are perceived as glossy, shiny or lustrous, whilst less reflective surfaces are perceived as semi-gloss or matt. The factors involved in visual perception are the surface condition, illumination and the observer.&nbsp; How can gloss be measured?Gloss is measured by shining a certain amount of light at a surface and quantifying the reflectance. Gloss can be measured by using an optical instrument called a gloss meter that provides quantifiable gloss measurements, expressed as gloss units (GU).&nbsp; Choosing the correct angle for gloss measurementGloss measurement is based on the amount of light reflected on the surface relative to a polished glass reference standard. The amount of light that is reflected on the surface is dependent on the angle of incidence and the properties of the surface.Gloss is mainly categorized as either matt, semi or high gloss. If an accurate GU value is required, f.e. as states reading at delivery, 'high gloss' surfaces should be measured using the 20° angle and low/matt surfaces using the 85° angle.&nbsp; High Gloss&nbsp; Surfaces with a brilliant or highly polished finish reflect images clearly. Brokerage deal of the week: the 35m Codecasa superyacht Bachata Queen

Here we take a look at the What, Why, Where and Who of some of the best brokerage deals currently on the market. This week we explore the latest 37 metre Couach 3700 Fly superyacht currently under construction and listed for sale with CSO Yachts France.

What is on offer?

Currently under construction with French shipyard Couach Yachts, the Couach 3700 Fly features naval architecture by Exequiel Cano Lanza with exterior and interior design by the in-house team at the yard. On board she accommodates up to 10 guests over five staterooms, comprised of a large master suite, two double cabins and two twin cabins.

In regards to her performance, she is powered by twin MTU 12V 4000 M90 engines providing her with a top speed of 31 knots, a cruising speed of 27 knots and a range of 2,000 nm at a speed of 12 knots.

Why do we think this is such a great deal?

With the first model launched in 2007, Couach Yachts has experienced great success with the 3700 Fly vessel. With the yacht already under construction at the French shipyard, potential clients are offered the unique opportunity to purchase a 37 metre superyacht with a considerably shorter lead time than usual.

Where is she right now?

The Couach 3700 Fly is currently under construction at the Couach Yachts facilities in Gujan-Mestras in the south-west of France.

Brokerage deal of the week: the latest 37m new build Couach 3700 Fly

Camper &amp; Nicholsons has announced the successful sale of the 39.7 metre superyacht Parvati, who previously went under the names Santa Cruz Tres and Elisabeth F. Built by the Italian shipyard CRN in 1979, she features interior and exterior design by Kirschstein Designs, with CRN collaborating with the studio on the latter.

Over the years Parvati has seen several substantial upgrades and improvements. In 1999 she was completely rebuilt at the French shipyard La Ciotat, whilst in 2014 she completed an extensive refit. On board she accommodates up 10 guests as well as a crew of seven.

Parvati was listed for sale with Gaston Lees-Buckley at Camper &amp; Nicholsons, with Steve Ashford at CSO Yachts introducing the buyer in the deal. At the time of sale she was listed at an asking price of €2,900,000.

Y.CO have announced the sale of the 34.17 metre sailing yacht Unfurled. Built by Royal Huisman in 2000, Unfurled has enjoyed an active sailing regatta career since her launch, all the while being meticulously maintained by her professional crew. The 55m superyacht Obsession sold

Claude Niek of CSO Yachts, tells me that CSO Yachts has sold the 37 metre motoryacht Passionata, in an inhouse deal. The yacht was built in 1990 as a luxury classic by Ferronavale with Studio Peterlin Ltd as the naval architect. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/146074/image/large-ea62119a6d391c7da48197700ea41ad6.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/146074">Passionata has a steel displacement hull which makes her solid and sturdy. CSO Yachts sells superyacht Passionata

Tom Barnes of Bluewater has sold the 25 metre Mangusta named Callaloo, together with CSO Yachts, who represented the buyers.
