In February 2008 Horizon Yachts launched Trident I, the first of a new series. Following sea trials, the yacht is now ready for delivery to her European owners. This new Elegance 120 is designed by JC Espinosa, of Stuart, Florida, who is also responsible for the design of the successful new Horizon Premier 130’ Tri-Deck motor yachts.<img src="https://d3w3pid64ak8v.cloudfront.net/photo/120994/image/large-b9079d5923da3171f8d9b958c8fa7fde.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/120994"><a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1479" data-legacy="true" href="#managed-by-application">Trident I</a> can accommodate 8 guests in four guest staterooms, with ensuite bathrooms, on the lower deck. This accommodations area is linked to the main deck by an innovative atrium stairway. The owner’s stateroom is located forward on the main deck, guaranteeing privacy. This stateroom opens to a large owner’s bathroom a half-level below.Aft of the master stateroom, the main deck space flows into the large and well-appointed salon and dining room, which in turn leads to a large aft deck suited and furnished for alfresco dining. Behind the raised pilothouse is the expansive flybridge deck, large enough to accommodate parties for dining or relaxing by the hot tub, or enjoy a refreshing drink from the well-designed bar.The fully enclosed tender garage is big enough for a 6-metre tender and is located aft of the crew area. One of the special design and engineering features worthy of special note is a clever elevator/swim step that helps deploy the tender as well as provide divers with safe and easy access to the water.
