When Rock 85 first debuted in 2018, it was a revelation in the yachting sector. Crafted from the boards of Dutch design studio <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/15" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Vripack (Company)">Vripack</a>, the open-plan design boasted over 20 percent more internal volume than any other count part in this &nbsp;category. The enhanced &nbsp;interior space translate to more living zones and additional room for family interactions, and a smooth flow of movement between outdoor and indoor areas. One standout feature is the transformation of the door leading from the main saloon to the aft deck: it's now a pair of sliding glass doors that reveal a brand-new 2.5-metre aft deck plunge pool. One such change is an innovative kite sail system that was retrospectively designed for, and fitted to, hull number one. “It’s a three-deck boat that looks like a two-deck boat in profile, and having a sleek aesthetic was one of our original requirements,” continues Ali Sayakci.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/183062/image/large-cd367c887f97907ffc2abc0c89a70ac1.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/183062">Characterised by an enticing interior design with textured fabrics and soft furnishings juxtaposed against maple wood finishes and angular three-dimensional shapes, the yacht’s inviting interior is akin to a contemporary loft apartment. The use of colors inside plays an important role within the interior, which is dominated by the sophisticated contrast of dark and light materials.
