Due to popular demand in the industry, New Zealand company Fastmount are now producing its popular Maxi Metal clips in both 5kg and 10kg pull out versions as stock items.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/151682/image/large-30d17b79bd6ccb7a3e1dfb55656f4afd.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/151682">The MC-05 and MC-10 Maxi Metal clips are designed to meet the needs of demanding applications that require fire protection and heavy load bearing. Ideally suited to aluminium plate substrate, marble veneer or aluminium honeycomb panels; panels can easily be recovered and refitted in any sequence.SuperYacht Times caught up with the company owners, Maggie and Gregg Kelly, at this years METS in Amsterdam. With the 2014 edition of the show marking the seventh appearance of Fastmount at METS, the owners commented, “It’s extremely important for us and the only show that we come to. It’s critical because firstly we get to see everybody in the industry that we need to see from architects to designers, and then we also use the METS as a central area to get all of our exhibitors across the world to come see us. We have meetings on our stand, new training for our new products, and then we also have our awards night, which will be happening tonight. METS 2014: Fastmount about the importance of the show

Innovative company Fastmount has won the top award for best business with revenue under $10m in the 2012 New Zealand International Business Awards, held in Auckland, New Zealand. The Awards celebrate business success in the world and recognises professional excellence and innovative practice with exceptional export success in international markets. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/138605/image/large-0606906f7d2ba6937e6820c5771af0ac.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/133107">Seven years on, Fastmount has won 4 international innovation awards, is used by more than 1,000 boatyards in 50-plus countries, and boasts many of the world’s award winning Superyachts and top boatbuilders among its clientele. Kiwi company Fastmount was established to meet the demanding requirements of the Superyacht sector. Director and boatbuilder Gregg Kelly saw the opportunity to develop a custom made solution and together Kelly and fellow director Ron Hanley designed the innovative Fastmount clip system, creating an entirely new category in the global marine industry. The Fastmount concealed mounting system delivers a flawless finish and perfect alignment every time. Panels can be easily removed and refitted in any sequence time after time. Last year, Kelly and Hanley developed the Low Profile System. Launched at the 2011 Buildex NZ it was awarded product of the show. The company’s vision to set the world standard for removable panel-mounting systems is fast being realised. The patented and EU design registered system is specifically designed to perform on land, sea and in the air; and ideal for industries and customers with demanding performance requirements. Fellow director Ron Hanley says “We’re very proud the Fastmount solution has been embraced across the globe. Our design mantra is clever but practical thinking and we love it when customers say “I wish I'd thought of that – it’s such a clever, simple idea”. The Fastmount footprint is kept to a minimum by having internet based systems. Fastmount wins international business award

Fastmount™, designer and manufacturer of award-winning panel mounting systems, known for innovative thinking with practical solutions launches the new Autofit female Clip (PC-AF1) – METS Show, booth 02.226. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/133107/image/large-fdfe655523d1e92580b585fb3d100750.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/133107">Initial feedback has been so positive; the product release has been brought forward to showcase at METS. An extension to the existing clip range, the Fastmount Autofit female clip PC-AF1 can be used with all male clips and in conjunction with other clip sets to achieve perfect alignment. The new Fastmount Autofit female clip (PC-AF1) is ideal for panels that require post installation adjustments, such as lacquered panels that are difficult to align and also complex and curved panels. Based on customer feedback, Fastmount have developed an adjustable clip (PC-AF1) with lateral adjustment in all directions. Push fit into the ply frame (minimum thickness 12mm).
