The latest design from Piet B. Behage is a 24.7 metre motor yacht created with long distance, family cruising in mind. The model is part of a new fast displacement range from the Dutch brand ranging from 18 to 28 metres in length.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/156516/image/large-013d7f94032fd3ddd694c16bee703086.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/156516">The new design will feature large windows on the main deck, ensuring plenty of natural light inside as well as providing guests with spectacular views. An open bathing platform is integrated in transom, a stairway leads down from the main aft deck.She has a cruising speed of 10.2 knots and will boast long ranges. New 24.7m convertible P.B. Behage superyacht design

Flevo Ship Holland recently delivered this week's Superyacht of the Week, the outstanding Belle de Jour. At just over 29 metres, this elegant vessel, with steel hull and aluminium superstructure, boasts the instantly recognisable look of a modern classic. One of her many appealing features is an extraordinary attention to detail, with regards to interiors as well as exteriors. This becomes clear in, among others, the stainless steel profiles and rubbing strakes, custom deck fittings and countersunk doors. Located on this main deck, a large and beautifully crafted bridge, with big U-shaped seating for 8, greatly enhances the social aspect whilst underway. This adds to the overall onboard experience and shows that, with her style and high levels of quality, Belle de Jour is all about an optimal experience. The aft section of this large and light space, which was deliberately left open, including the galley, was fully reserved for the lounge. This U-shaped area with big sofas and surrounding panoramic windows, which can be individually lowered when desired, is inviting, light and undoubtedly a central social hub onboard. The design, without the traditional aft sliding doors, results in a great sense of privacy and shows off a keen, efficient use of space. The central section of the saloon offers a closed pantry, a breakfast bar and an L-shaped starboard seating arrangement, which includes an open fireplace port side opposite a built-in piano. Here, two extended balconies on either side allow guests to enjoy dramatic vista views, while a glass windscreen and stainless steel handrails offer extra protection. Midships, the mast has fixed bimini shades and panoramic glass panels, assuring elegant comfort for everyone, with a big U-shaped lounge area and al fresco dining area at guests' disposal, which can be transformed into a sun deck. From exhausts to railing and even LED mood-lighting, Belle de Jour's engine room is a treat in itself. Flevoship delivers superyacht Belle de Jour

With her exterior reminiscing the style and grace of a powerful, elegant sports car, Belle de Jour is an outstanding, 30 metre LOA steel superyacht that is currently awaiting her debut. Her elegance is reflected by a large freeboard and closed bulwarks, which emphasises the vessel's seaworthiness and safety, while creating a perfect balance of form and function. With her steel hull and aluminium superstructure, this truly exceptional superyacht was designed by naval architect Pieter Beeldsnijder of the Dutch PB Design, In cooperation with Flevoship, who I visited in February. She boasts a contemporary and light oak interior that provides her highly experienced owner, and his company, with ample amounts of space and an excellent level comfort and luxury, all exquisitely finished. The extraordinary attention to detail is clear in the stainless steel profiles and rubbing strakes, custom deck fittings and the countersunk doors to the wheelhouse, engine room and saloon, all milled in one piece from 70mm seawater-proof aluminium plating.With his extensive experience of cooperating with acclaimed shipyards such as Royal Huisman and Feadship, Pieter Beeldsnijder is accustomed to partnering with experienced owners, who usually bring their own clear ideas to the table and expect the very best. Belle de Jour is no exception to this rule. As Beeldsnijder states, “the owner of Belle de Jour has been very involved at every stage of design and construction, which became increasingly sophisticated as it proceeded. Together we carefully worked through every aspect and had great fun doing so. This is the best way to get the best possible result and one of the reasons why Belle de Jour can truly be called a mini-mega yacht.”<div align="center"><iframe height="315" frameborder="0" width="560" allowfullscreen="" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/RUmb1em2HLs" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></div>While a 30-metre yacht would normally have at least half a bridge deck, the choice was made for a prominent main deck and the sportive look of a flybridge. On the main deck one finds a spacious bridge with a beautifully crafted, U-shaped seating for 8 persons, which especially enhances the social aspect while sailing. This layout reflects the owner’s desire to enjoy all the comforts of a luxurious main deck and not worry about the extra volume of the bridge deck. Another specific request includes making the deck sufficiently large to transport a small car, which can be lifted by means of an onboard crane.The social areas of the main deck have been deliberately left open, including the galley, to allow guests to enjoy each other's company. The wonderful main lounge, with large windows, opens up to create a serene al fresco haven on the aft deck. With a delicate and elegant stained oak interior, Belle de Jour offers her guests a warm character with Art Deco touches.On the bridge, the dashboard has 4 large screens giving a complete overview of all functions of the ship. Immediately aft, we find the main saloon, divided in central and aft sections. In the central section offers a semi-closed pantry with breakfast bar, a cosy L-shaped seating starboard and an open fire and built-in piano. The aft section has a panoramic view with electrically retractable windows that, depending on weather conditions, can be individually lowered or raised. The seating is U-shaped with one large central table plus various small ones.Some of many interior highlights onboard include a large owner’s suite, and two guest cabins which can be combined into one big VIP suite. The owners full beam quarters give extra protection through watertight bulkheads that are locked from inside, accessing both the A-deck and the engine room. Beside a large master bed there is a walk-in wardrobe, a comfortable lounge area and a spacious en suite bathroom with extra shower, separated by large glass sliding doors. The two guest cabins each offer an en suite bathroom, with both suites being able to combine into one large VIP suite by use of an electric sliding wall.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/143075/image/large-c31f71df9220cd6e73ec7da9480a75f3.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/143075">On the boat deck we find a flybridge with revolving and lockable dashboard, with incorporated handrail for extra safety. A glass windscreen with stainless steel handrail offers extra protection. On port and starboard sides there are two extended balconies to enjoy dramatic vista views, also providing an excellent visibility while maneuvering. At starboard, we find an electrically retractable sliding hatch that gives access to the stairways that lead towards bridge. Midships, there is the mast with fixed large round bimini shades and panoramic glass panels. On starboard, the storage area for a small car can be found, invisible from the exterior by means of the wing mast. The U-shaped bench with table on the aft can be transformed into a sun deck. Belle de Jour offers room for 2 tenders and a crane that can lift up to 1000 kg.Crew quarters are accessible from stern and port side, with direct access to the deck and engine room. The latter is a work of art in its own right, with a LED lighting scheme specifically developed for this room.The captain's cabin has a desk and twin beds. Additional crew accommodation also include a cabin for two crew members, an extra pantry with fridges and washing units and a shower. The owner intends to frequently sail Belle de Jour himself so she will not require a full quotient of crew.Belle de Jour is built under Lloyd's registry specification in steel and aluminum, equipped with zero speed stabilisers for extra smooth sailing and high comfort when at anchor. The engine room is installed according to the highest standards and houses two MAN 24 liter engines of 598 Hp each.After her launch at the end of March, Belle de Jour will be the first in a custom series available with a range of different lengths.
