Superyacht Antalis off Beaulieu sur Mer

The FIPA Group in Viareggio have relaunched the Swiss owned Antalis, following a refit at the yard in Italy. Delivered by Baglietto in 2007, the unusual looking superyacht was designed by the Italian design studio Giugiaro Design with an interior by Dellarole Design. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/135092/image/large-2935e90f5589d821a89a4fdf63d3b33e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/135092">The refit included a modification of her sundeck, which was extended and redesigned. Superyacht Antalis relaunches after refit at FIPA Group

The 51-metre triple-decker superyacht marks the advent of a joint venture between Mondo Marine and Giugiaro Architettura. The core objective of the project, called Deep 51, is to minimise the barriers between the interior and exterior of the vessel.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/134747/image/large-ce80bd44dda05d365c8e9e340afc0820.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/134747">Entirely constructed in aluminium, she is 51 metres long with a beam of over 9 metres, a strikingly assertive sporting prow and tight, sleekly elegant lines. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/134748/image/large-53d6f95c84eceb9bda6d6ceddd2a4b22.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/134748">The band of windows runs along the entire length of the boat and full beam for the master cabin, creating an exhilarating open-air effect. Both the interior and exterior areas have been carefully designed to maximise on-board comfort and privacy for guests whilst in practical terms, great attention has been paid to the layout and clever use of space. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/134749/image/large-e7fa382ba664d6484a0ea579968c7282.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/134749">The spaciousness of the entertainment areas, the ingenious use of space and lighting on board all combine to define this superyacht’s vocation: creating a comfortable, relaxing life on board. The extremely spacious master cabin, for example, was designed to encompass the entire width of the superstructure, and its location at the extreme prow of the main deck ensures total privacy. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/134750/image/large-c655a2930ae4d3c4178ff338c8514bef.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/134750">The fore fly deck boasts a stunning glass-bottomed swimming pool, which can be seen from the cabin – creating a magical atmosphere with its spectacular, aquarium-like iridescent lighting infusing the cabin. Finally, the sun deck offers a spacious, panoramic fitness area providing a feeling of pure well-being. Amongst the many particular characteristics enjoyed by this vessel is its friendly technology, which allows the management and control of the various systems (audio, video, lighting, safety and control) all over the boat by the simple means of a cellular smartphone. Mondo Marine and Giugiaro reveal superyacht project Deep 51

At the last Monaco Yacht Show, Tankoa Yachts, a new Italian shipyard based in Genoa, presented their first superyacht; the 65 metre Tankoa S65. She is a twin screw displacement motor yacht built to both RINA and Lloyd’s rules. The superyacht will have a high tensile steel hull with a light weight alloy superstructure. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/126351/image/large-7c1950f6ea45669b3094b72e63973494.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/126351">The hull lines of the Tankoa S65 are designed by Prof. Vincenzo Ruggiero and the exterior lines are from the hand of Francesco Paszkowski. The first Tankoa superyacht, S65-11, will have an interior designed by the well known British architect David Chipperfield. The second superyacht, S65-12, will be delivered in 2012 and will have an interior by another well known name, Giugiaro. It’s not the first superyacht project for Giugiaro, previously they worked on the 47 metre Baglietto Antalis and the 32 metre Jongert Red Sula. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/126352/image/large-1f692751b6fe044eb7d702dd7fa5a882.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/126352">The hull of the first Tankoa S65 is currently under construction in Carrara. In September 2009 it will be shipped to the Genova Sestri Ponente yard, using the new semi-submersible barge belonging to the Shipyard.
