44m Suez yacht Lady Scorpio sold

Built in 2010, the 44.35-metre Suez yacht Lady Scorpio has been sold with an asking price of €1,495,000.

Globe Regal Yachting have released details of their latest superyacht concept: the 70-metre Ice Class Explorer, Project Ida Pfeiffer. This concept was developed in conjunction with the New York studio, Gill Schmid Designs and Dörries Yachts of Bremerhaven in northern Germany.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/33764/image/large-daf5d831c834de45ea26f4e62f77acc4.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/33764">The concept takes its name from the Austrian traveller and travel book author, Ida Pfeiffer, one of the first female explorers whose popular books were translated into seven languages and who was a member of geographical societies in both Berlin and Paris.&nbsp;The 70-metre ice class vessel has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and would be driven by diesel electric propulsion that would allow her to cruise in some of the coldest waters on the planet. Globe Regal Yachting have recently unveiled a 160-metre superyacht concept in collaboration with the New York-based studio Gill Schmid Design and the Hijos de Barreras shipyard in Vigo, Spain.&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/31730/image/large-50c2eeb18886ed707a7ebbbd2ca6e168.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/31730">To be built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, Project XIA would feature 22 guest suites, including one large owner's suite over two floors and two private owner's decks, as well as accommodating a crew of 64. New 160m superyacht concept revealed: Project XIA

Yacht building division of Dörries Maritime Services in Germany, Dörries Yachts, has unveiled a new 90-metre superyacht project that is ready to be built for a client looking for a German-built superyacht with a delivery time of just 39 months. Designed by H2 Yacht Design, the fully engineered and developed project is ‘ready to go to the cutting of steel at a moment’s notice’.

Measuring 90 metres in length, Moon Shadow has a beam of 14.9 metres and a draft of 4.6 metres. Two MTU 4000 M71-2 engines will allow for a top speed of 18 knots and deliver a range of 6,000 nm. Dörries Yachts have been responsible for the overseeing of the outfitting of recent superyacht projects such as Graceful and Ulysses.
