The dates for the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Event/252" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Mediterranean Yacht Show - 2025">Mediterranean Yacht Show</a> and the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Event/251" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="MYBA Charter Show - 2025">MYBA Charter Show</a> have been announced for 2025. Also known as <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Event/252" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Mediterranean Yacht Show - 2025">MEDYS</a>, next year’s edition will be the 10th event in the Association's history, while <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Event/251" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="MYBA Charter Show - 2025">MYBA</a> will be celebrating the 35th show.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/310975/image/large-bdfc0387639e6c29e72f51834c5ca3d5.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/310975">Organised by the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4981" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Greek Yachting Association (Company)">Greek Yachting Association</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Event/252" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Mediterranean Yacht Show - 2025">MEDYS</a> will take place in Nafplio, Greece from Saturday 3 May to Wednesday 7 May 2025. The event will follow the format of previous years and will host an impressive lineup of superyachts in the small seaside town.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/276439/image/large-5d0e96dd70316d12074110f8ae4542ca.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/276439">Before confirming the 2025 show dates, the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4981" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Greek Yachting Association (Company)">GYA</a> liaised and aligned with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Event/251" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="MYBA Charter Show - 2025">MYBA</a>, the organisers of the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Event/251" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="MYBA Charter Show - 2025">MYBA Charter Show</a>, to ensure the chosen dates would allow industry professionals to attend both events easily.The <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Event/251" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="MYBA Charter Show - 2025">MYBA Charter Show</a> will precede the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Event/252" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Mediterranean Yacht Show - 2025">MEDYS</a>, taking place from Monday 28 April to Thursday 1 May 2025, at a location that will be revealed shortly by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Event/251" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="MYBA Charter Show - 2025">MYBA</a>.

MEDYS and MYBA Charter Show 2025 dates announced

The seventh edition of the <a href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Mediterranean Yacht Show - 2022">Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS)</a> drew to a close last week with more than 90 registered yachts attending this year. The event took place from April 30th to May 4th at the port of Nafplio after a two year absence due to Covid restrictions. The highly anticipated event was attended by over 600 yacht brokers and industry professionals, with a <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4509" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="SuperYacht Times (Company)">SuperYacht Times</a> team attending as media partners for the five-day event. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/226452/image/large-99052534a02587061f179ea157cd0686.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/226452">The <a href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Mediterranean Yacht Show - 2022">Mediterranean Yacht Show</a> was organised by the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4981" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Greek Yachting Association (Company)">Greek Yachting Association</a> with the support of the Municipality of Nafplion. The event saw a wait list of over 20 yachts wanting to attend with over 30 countries from all over the world represented. Those who attended had the opportunity to see the yachts available for charter up-close, to get to know their crews and to be informed about the possibilities and options they offer.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/226451/image/large-60e26c37b089b71284d809c62da5d501.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/226451"><img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/226453/image/large-9fa1f6b9a5afd60d00ad19ef098c9d61.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/226453">The <a href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Mediterranean Yacht Show - 2022">Mediterranean Yacht Show</a> remains the largest in the world in terms of attendance, above the exhibitions in Antigua and Barcelona, which cover the markets of the Western Hemisphere and the Western Mediterranean respectively.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/226444/image/large-458967d2d90eb21aafc4f39daccd73c7.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/226444">The event was opened on April 30th by the President of the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4981" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Greek Yachting Association (Company)">Greek Yachting Association</a>, Mr. Michael Skoulikidis, in the presence of the Mayor of Nafplion, Mr. Dimitrios Kostouros, the General Secretary of Ports, Port Policy and Maritime Investments, Mr. Evangelos Kiriazopoulos, Regional Governor of Peloponnese, Mr. Panagiotis Nikas.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/226443/image/large-a8185624de9e6792fd0467a599c5c8ef.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/226443">Michael Skoulikidis spoke proudly of this years event, with emphasis on the quantity and quality of yachts in attendance, “We have multiple times more yachts -totalling a cumulative length of over 3.4 kilometres- and bigger in length than all the craft that were on exhibit in France, Italy and Spain together.” As well as this, Skoulikidis pointed out the need for additional and coordinated actions to support Greek yachting, which is also the spearhead of the tourism industry.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/226446/image/large-05c60f0cbe005439047b0b1b264ce4af.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/226446">The <a href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Mediterranean Yacht Show - 2022">Mediterranean Yacht Show</a> hosts a series of side events including the renowned Chefs' Competition, in which talented yacht chefs showcased their culinary talent to a panel of experts. Various panels and presentations took place over the course of the week, hosted by industry professionals from companies such as the Charter Yacht Brokers Association and Marinepool.
