The first is a fully-electric system with a hydrogen fuel cell and the option for hydrogen storage tanks. The second option is a hybrid diesel-electric version, with a ‘solar roof’ fashioned from glass solar tiles, situated above the yacht’s flybridge.The eco-catamaran features naval architecture completed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5966" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="iYacht GmbH Yachtdesign & Engineering (Company)">iYacht GmbH Yachtdesign &amp; Engineering</a> and an exterior penned by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5965" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="HENNDESIGN (Company)">HENNDESIGN</a>. Her decks are home to plenty of exterior space including a large, open flybridge.She features a spacious main saloon complete with an open-galley, bar, dining and lounge area. On her main deck are two exterior lounge spaces, situated to the bow and stern. She also features three crew cabins and can fit a total of five crew members with her crew mess accessible by two companionways. Alva Yachts have introduced the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/YachtModel/10447" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ocean Sail 8224.9m (81'8&quot;)">Ocean Sail 82</a>, an innovative 24.9-metre electric sailing yacht model. The yacht could come with either an emergency diesel generator to refill the battery pack or (the completely green option) with a hydrogen fuel cell set-up. In the environmental spirit of the whole project, the tender will be powered by an electric outboard motor or by jet propulsion (connected to an electric motor).
