Dynamiq unveils five new superyacht concepts 

Dynamiq has unveiled five superyacht concepts, ranging from 41 to 55 metres. 

In 2018 American yacht builder <a href="https://sya.superyachttimes.com/companies/westport" target="_blank">Westport</a> yachts launched the third hull of its highly successful Westport 125 series, the 38.1-metre <a href="https://sya.superyachttimes.com/yachts/serenity-38m" target="_blank">Serenity</a>, currently on the market with Brandon Kummer of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6336" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Kitson Yachts (Company)">Kitson Yachts</a>. The superyacht, which features a custom interior from <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7756" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Holly Hunt (Company)">Holly Hunt Design</a>, is the most customised <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/217" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Westport Yachts (Company)">Westport</a> ever constructed, featuring contemporary European lines and spectacular bespoke interiors. Jim Dynes, Design Director at <a href="https://sya.superyachttimes.com/companies/holly-hunt" target="_blank">House of Hunt</a>, took a tour of the superyacht to share some unique insights into her special interior design;<iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Hux6M1YW5DI?&amp;wmode=opaque" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe>As outlined in the video, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6558" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Serenity38.1m (125'0&quot;)Westport Yachts2018">Serenity</a> features an impressive 8-metre beam that accentuates her 329 GT of volume, as well as her large windows throughout that give her the feeling of a residential space. Careful consideration has been given to her asymmetrical ceiling arrangement that is lowered on the port side to create a more intimate feeling in the lounge and dining area, but raised in the corridor that leads to the master suite.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/319651/image/large-2a47d4f391ebc07ed484ed50090576fa.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/319651"><a href="https://sya.superyachttimes.com/yachts/serenity-38m" target="_blank">Serenity</a>’s interior style is an eye-catching departure from the shipyard’s generally more traditional interiors and offers uniquely styled spaces featuring elevated materials and finishes. Eucalyptus is used in different styles and finishes throughout the yacht as well as onyx, and quartzite stonework throughout, custom furniture pieces and fixtures such as floating credenzas and metal banding that brings together other components.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/319198/image/large-8f04d2f7a81a2f64f4300df51e0213dc.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/319198">The dining area was also thoughtfully designed and features subtle changes from other yachts in the series that enhance the space. A floating credenza finished in high polished Eucalyptus is located forward of the angular table, and a carefully designed China cabinet is disguised in the corner to port - which fits seamlessly into the space. The angular table positions every guest in view of one another, enabling an ease of conversation and a flow of service.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/319203/image/large-643e5b0d624c1f51842725639003dea1.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/319203">Unlike other yachts from the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/217" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Westport Yachts (Company)">Westport</a> series, she features a particularly large galley with central island and contemporary stainless steel fixtures. Her master stateroom has also been enhanced, with a unique configuration to expand the space and offer his-and-hers dressing rooms and a large central ensuite bathroom.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/319213/image/large-6ef9e5488d3777419ced0f94ba0b7308.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/319213">On the lower deck, three guest staterooms are split between one VIP, differentiated with unique materials and two doubles that are finished in metallic tones that offer a contemporary feel. Each of the staterooms features an ensuite bathroom, walk-around beds and plenty of storage space. The lower deck is also home to an integrated gym featuring a recessed treadmill and free weights. The aft deck is home to an alfresco dining table and features a bar to port and a large credenza aft, which can also be used as a buffet table for casual dining options. The split-level sundeck features two distinct areas to gather; the upper area offers dinette seating to starboard and a large bar and barbecue are to port. Stepping down to the lower level of the sundeck the guests have access to a Jacuzzi and day head, a custom addition to <a href="https://sya.superyachttimes.com/yachts/serenity-38m" target="_blank">Serenity</a>’s original build.
