Founded by Fabrice Maitre and Norina Edelman, IMM has grown steadily while remaining anchored in its core values: Passion, Expertise, Honesty, Teamwork, and Service. These principles guide every aspect of IMM's work, from large refits to urgent repairs.

Each IMM location, while providing similar service, has a distinct offering:

• IMM Guadeloupe: A full-service facility in Pointe-à-Pitre with a 700-ton  floating dock and 200m of deep-water berthing.
• IMM St. Maarten:  Located at Isle de Sol Marina in Simpson Bay, Dock  Maarten in Philipsburg and from January 1st, 2025, IMM will also operate the 20,000 m² IMM SXM Shipyard in Cole Bay, featuring 150- and 80-ton Travelifts capable of handling vessels with up to a 12-foot draft and a 33-foot beam. With 50+ skilled technicians IMM provides unmatched technical expertise and service. 
• IMM Puerto Rico: Based at Piers 15 and 16 in San Juan, currently operating a 2,000-ton floating dock, with a 200m dry dock coming soon.
• IMM La Rochelle: Based in La Rochelle - Atlantic Refit Center, including an 11-metre draft capability and a fully secured ISPS-compliant area. It features two dry docks (176-metres and-107 metres), a 250-tonne travel lift, cranes of up to 150 tonnes, 300-metres of afloat repair quays, and 2,000-square-metres of hard-standing space.

To meet the needs of international clients, IMM also offers IMM A.WAY—a remote shipyard service that brings the highest level of technical services to any location. From Europe and the U.S. to Brazil and the Caribbean, IMM A.WAY can handle the shipyard period from A to Z, providing contract terms and insurance, ensuring on- time and on-budget delivery, and providing aftersales support—all on your terms, wherever you are.
