The 114.2-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/23" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lürssen Yachts (Company)">Lürssen</a> superyacht Project Cosmos has been seen in Kiel, Germany during her transfer for outfitting. The motor yacht was first seen out of the shed in March 2023 when she was technically launched from <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/23" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lürssen Yachts (Company)">Lürssen</a>’s facility in Rendsburg, Germany.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/283734/image/large-fa4a10afc21ed0460e0a8699efb5adc6.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/283734">Also known as Project 13759, Project Cosmos will be the first <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/23" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lürssen Yachts (Company)">Lürssen</a> superyacht to feature fuel cell technology. The motor yacht uses a cell which consists of two bipolar plates and one membrane electrode-assembly to form a fuel cell stack.Designed by Apple watch developer <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4739" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Marc Newson Ltd (Company)">Marc Newson</a>, Project Cosmos boasts an estimated interior volume of around 6,300 GT and a beam of 18-metres. The 114.2-metre superyacht Project Cosmos has been technically launched from <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/23" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lürssen Yachts (Company)">Lürssen</a>’s facility in Rendsburg, Germany. This is the first time we’ve seen the superyacht, otherwise known as Project 13759.
