At 26-metres, the yacht is the flagship of the builder’s Seadeck Series and the biggest vessel produced at the site to date. The model was first announced at the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Event/172" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cannes Yachting Festival - 2023">Cannes Yachting Festival 2023</a>.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/384497/image/large-c8250db2aaf728d28b465f49834979dd.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/384497">The yacht’s exterior design is by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/3025" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Alberto Mancini Yacht Design (Company)">Alberto Mancini</a>, while the interiors have been developed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7412" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez (Company)">Matteo Thun &amp; Antonio Rodriguez</a>. The Seadeck 9 follows the design direction of the Seadeck series, with an emphasis on connection to the sea and outdoor living. The interiors are based on the Conscious Design principles developed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7412" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez (Company)">Thun &amp; Rodriguez</a>, focusing on functional, understated spaces and the relationship between occupants and their environment.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/384500/image/large-acd3cf97a31dff8a8c12b5d5d2ac56d5.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/384500">In line with the sustainability strategy of the Seadeck Series, the Seadeck 9 is pre-arranged for the installation of a <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5350" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Volvo Penta (Company)">Volvo Penta</a> hybrid propulsion system.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/384505/image/large-2d8ea240359b8510ab828eeaa25bb150.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/384505">The launch follows a multi-year investment programme at the Avigliana facility, where <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/358" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azimut Yachts (Company)">Azimut</a> has upgraded production spaces, workflows and technical capabilities. Design company Tillberg Design of Sweden (TDoS) has welcomed Martin Butler to their team as the new Creative Director.
