We first reported on the MCC 46 metre Neo Classic Long Range Motoryacht in March. MCC Design informs us they will display a model of this project at the Monaco Yacht Show. Stylistically The Neo Classic is a blend of modern minimalist simplicity coupled with classically efficient hull design. MCC goes neo classic in 46 metre project

MCC moves forward toward the future, and at the same time, turns back in time. At this week’s 2011 Palm Beach Boat Show, March 24-27th, MCC is introducing their new design for a 46-meter Long Range Motor Yacht—the Neo Classic Series. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/134482/image/large-f16ad5f8a0775aacf12449b437acb49e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/134482">In painting, sculpture, architecture literature, and music, Neo Classicism has been defined as a desire to return to the pure ideals of some other time in history, whether it is ancient Greece, the Renaissance, or the 20th century. With its new 46-meter, MCC combines historic design with state-of- the-art modernity. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/134483/image/large-82f581cc4606655714d7af67b31b25e7.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/134483">MCC naval architect Kasia Milewska says: “I took my inspiration from the ships that were built early in the last century, no nonsense efficiency, the shape of the bow…” Like all Neo Classics, the best new design is not derivative, but deferential to the past with a vision toward the future. The sleek new MCC 46-meter can be offered with either a twin engine/ twin prop configuration or the most fuel efficient version with a single prop similar to the Marco Polo series. With a maximum speed of 16 knots, the yacht is designed for long-range speeds at 14 knots. The hull is decidedly rugged but at the same time it is a proper yacht, handsome and stately. One could argue if the plumb bow is modern or retro, but the overall exterior styling of the new 46 is definitely is lean and clean. The main salon and bar are on the main deck with infinite flexibility in terms of dining/lounge area. The sky lounge is on the bridge deck along with the captain’s cabin and wheelhouse. Accommodations are for ten, with luxurious master and VIP suites on the main deck and three double guest staterooms on the lower deck along with crew area and galley. Jacuzzi, sun pads and bar can be found on the sundeck. There is tender stowage in a garage on the foredeck accessed by a port side shell door and a second tender can be stored in a lazarette with a shell door that can convert into a swim platform. MCC unveils their Neo Classic superyacht series

At the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, news reached us that accross the world in China, MCC’s new 46 metre Mazu was just launched. MCC launches 46 metre superyacht Mazu

MCC - Maritime Concept and Construction (Hong Kong) Ltd. will once again be present at the Monaco Yacht Show. Visit them at the same location as last year in Tent Parvis Piscine, stand QP 55. Conceived by in-house naval architect Kasia Milewska, this novel design expands upon the signature MCC theme of fuel efficiency. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/132234/image/large-b2140c6a20f6394d26a4c3b4ceb22a0d.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/132234">Taking its cue from the revolutionary Marco Polo series, this vessel will have the most economic single screw propulsion with electrically driven Schottel pump jets on the market. The range is a remarkable 5300nm at 11 knots using only 80 liters per hour. Additionally, in keeping with the growing trend for greener energy, the MCC 38 will forgo teak decks employing instead environmentally sound sustainable wood. Furthermore, the cap rails on the bulwarks will be composite rather than teak. The interior décor while infinitely flexible can be fitted with eco-friendly materials and textiles, such as bamboo, mango wood and recycled glass. Designer Milewska feels the inside should reflect the outside in terms of spirit and has sourced a number of interesting options for flooring, wall covering, tiles, countertops, fixtures, and fabrics. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/132235/image/large-fc611fd5e0fd8ecb50f6efa607959d10.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/132235">The MCC 38, built of sturdy steel with a composite superstructure, offers a lot more volume than similar sized yachts. Despite her modest length over all, the 38- meter boasts generous accommodations for eight guests plus captain and seven crewmembers. While the master and VIP staterooms are practically equal in terms of luxury, at this stage, the owner can opt to have the master suite on the upper deck and the VIP and captains cabin on the main deck, or have both suites on the main deck. The other guest and crew cabins and galley are planned to be on the lower deck. Remarkably for her size, there is an elevator accessing all deck levels from lower deck to the sundeck. Model of the MCC 38m Transocean Explorer at the Monaco Yacht Show

At the recent Miami Yacht and Brokerage Show MCC introduced their new MCC 38m; a yacht design in harmony with the times. Like the existing and soon to be completed 45m yachts the 38 has the most economic single screw propulsion in the market with electrically driven Schottel jets for "get you home" security. Kebony is a wood impregnated and heat treated to offer teak performance and looks yet using an environmentally sound, sustainable wood. The new MCC 38m Transocean Explorer

At the Monaco Yacht Show MCC will premier a 60m and a 33m version of their iconic Marco Polo transocean explorer series to specially invited guests. The designs will be unveiled at the MCC stand QP55 in the Parvis Piscine tent. The 60m concept will be offered in a Diesel Electric Hybrid using the latest Siemens technology, as well as with a conventional propulsion system.
