To further strengthen these connections, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/212" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Benetti SpA (Company)">Benetti</a> conducted interviews in 2024 using the Net Promoter Score (NPS) to measure customer satisfaction and understand how likely customers are to recommend the brand.“<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/212" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Benetti SpA (Company)">Benetti</a>'s success is based on constant dialogue with the various players, including captains, who play a key role in telling the yacht builder what the real onboard requirements are,” he explained. “This is an ongoing dialogue that’s far more than the mere delivery of a product: <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/212" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Benetti SpA (Company)">Benetti</a>’s goal is to create made-to-measure yachts that meet the specific needs of owners, captains and crew, thereby guaranteeing an exclusive yachting experience.”<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/349017/image/large-c983f18aa9935005ce6c6b7ac6707a31.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/349017">Benetti’s Order Book<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/212" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Benetti SpA (Company)">Benetti</a> Sales Manager Daniela Petrozzi provided an update on the shipyard's order backlog, which extends until the end of 2028. Currently, 60 yachts are under construction or on order, totalling over 2,700 metres in length.&nbsp;Petrozzi also shared the geographical breakdown of the order backlog: Europe (35%), MEA and APAC (33%) and the Americas (32%). She also expressed gratitude to the captains, brokers and surveyors who played a key role in securing 75 percent of these contracts.<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/212" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Benetti SpA (Company)">Benetti</a>'s Head of Product, Sebastiano Vida, discussed the brand’s reputation as ‘The House of Yachting,’ highlighting its commitment to exceptional design, Italian craftsmanship, technological innovation and sustainability.&nbsp;To further enhance this, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/212" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Benetti SpA (Company)">Benetti</a> launched a new initiative called “Perspective from the Bridge,” which invites captains to share their insights at roundtable discussions on topics like innovation, sustainability and yacht usage trends. This initiative aims to continually enhance the onboard experience for owners. Their latest focus has been on alternative fuels, leading to the adoption of HVO, with Benetti noting that HVO can cut CO2 emissions by up to 90 percent compared to traditional fossil fuels.While HVO is currently the most viable option, its production is limited by the availability of raw materials. In response, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/212" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Benetti SpA (Company)">Benetti</a>’s R&amp;D team has been exploring green methanol from renewable sources, which they aim to introduce on <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/212" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Benetti SpA (Company)">Benetti</a> yachts as early as 2025.&nbsp;To support this transition, a methanol engine room simulator – based on a new 68-metre project – will be set up in Livorno. Every yacht is assigned a dedicated Service Manager during the warranty period, backed by a global network of Service Points that ensure quick and specialised assistance worldwide. These Service Points are strategically located at the Livorno hub and in key regions, including the Americas, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific.Ferdinando Pilli, who became General Manager at <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/895" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lusben Shipyard (Company)">Lusben</a> in September 2024, discussed the ongoing developments within the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/895" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lusben Shipyard (Company)">Lusben</a> division. This includes new services and infrastructure upgrades, made possible by a €12 million investment package as part of a three-year development plan.
