<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/220" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cantieri di Pisa (Company)">Cantieri di Pisa</a> is an Italian shipyard with a dynasty that spans the best part of a century. Despite being founded in 1945 in Limite sull’Arno to build and repair smaller yachts, by 1956 the yard was moved to Darsena Pisana as it had started signing projects too large for its facility.&nbsp;The shipyard has had an illustrious history, delivering more than 700 yachts &nbsp;– the largest of which being the 43.6-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1655" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cap de Quers43.6m (143'1&quot;)Cantieri di Pisa2006">Cap de Quers</a>. The 27.43-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/7829" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nasima 27.43m (89'12&quot;)Cantieri di Pisa2012">Nasima</a> was the yard’s last build, and following her delivery in 2012 the yard closed and was finally sold.&nbsp;The shipyard was bought 18 months ago and is back in business, with a fleet of new projects under its new leadership. SuperYacht Times sat down with CEO Marco Massabò to hear all about it.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/260833/image/large-8899422b8b6ae0ea4429c0654f8f493f.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/260833">What is your background prior to&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/220" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cantieri di Pisa (Company)">Cantieri di Pisa</a>?&nbsp;Yachts have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My father was a wood master and started working at a shipyard in Imperia, Italy, 70 years ago. I love boats and have professionally sailed for many years, competing from the Optimist to the Maxi yacht regattas – I’ve had a long collaboration with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/758" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="North Sails (Company)">North Sails</a>.&nbsp;In 1992 I met Luca Bassani, founder of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/166" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Wally (Company)">Wally</a>, and worked alongside him for 20 years. The brand was missing a refit yard in Italy, so I bought and founded one (WS Shipyard) in Savona. It's been very successful. I then moved into consultancy around 2010, working with clients both in yachting and shipping.&nbsp;I was working with some major players – it was a nice life. But around a year and a half ago, Enrico Gennasio (president and owner of the Alfagomma group) told me he was going to buy <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/220" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cantieri di Pisa (Company)">Cantieri di Pisa</a>, asking if I wanted to work with him.&nbsp;A great opportunity. I immediately got to work, spending time with naval architects and exterior designers, dreaming up the best yachts we can bring to market. The shipyard had great energy, and a number of great international designers came to visit us. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/259110/image/large-dc2f2a0d48808d14b563a945716e4215.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/259110"><a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/220" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cantieri di Pisa (Company)">Cantieri di Pisa</a>&nbsp;is back building yachts. Do these new models reflect a new vision?<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/220" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cantieri di Pisa (Company)">Cantieri di Pisa</a> is an iconic brand. We’re not here to change the rules, we want to rewrite them. The yachts that we’ve started to build are different from what <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/220" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cantieri di Pisa (Company)">Cantieri di Pisa</a> traditionally did. But we also want to be different from our competitors.&nbsp;Rather than starting from aesthetics, our primary interest is weight. We want to save as much weight as possible, to build and deliver some of the lightest yachts on the market. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/220" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cantieri di Pisa (Company)">Cantieri di Pisa</a> yachts are fast, agile, and incredibly sleek and all have shallow drafts. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/258737/image/large-8913f6c24d1edd5383a600b3c775dbbb.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/258737">The 25m 80 Veloce – the first&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/220" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cantieri di Pisa (Company)">Cantieri di Pisa</a>&nbsp;yacht since 2012 – is scheduled for delivery this year. Can you say a few words about her?&nbsp;The 80 Veloce is our first yacht. We wanted to build something that embodies our new philosophy – and she’s crazy fast! She’ll be equipped with three 2,000 horsepower V12 <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1441" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="MAN (Company)">MAN</a> engines that deliver a top speed in excess of 60 knots. The series has been well received and we already have clients signed for the second and third hull.&nbsp;She’s not for everyone though – which is why we’re about to present a Gran Turismo edition to the market. The 80 GT is based on the same lightweight hull yet with a more family-focused design. She’ll also be equipped with two engines, not three. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/258738/image/large-72d27a22a4c507d152fcab6398958f5e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/258738"><a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/220" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cantieri di Pisa (Company)">Cantieri di Pisa</a>&nbsp;also presented the new Akhir series. Has this model line been well received and are you considering building on speculation?&nbsp;The Akhir series is a new design for <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/220" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cantieri di Pisa (Company)">Cantieri di Pisa</a> which is offered in three sizes: a 31-metre, a 37-metre and a 42-metre flagship. Much like the 80 Veloce the idea is to keep the weight down as much as possible. The series has a contemporary design and we’re in talks about whether to build the first unit on speculation – it might happen, but I can’t confirm either way at this moment in time. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/259105/image/large-50b2769c2995a007591094d39d092014.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/259105">Why is weight such an important topic for&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/220" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cantieri di Pisa (Company)">Cantieri di Pisa</a>?Any sailor will tell you the importance of weight – they just will. I’ve personally sailed around the world on some of the world’s most important and fastest boats, and every time their core attribute was weight. However, shipyards and designers rarely consider weight early on when they’re planning a new project. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/220" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cantieri di Pisa (Company)">Cantieri di Pisa</a> does things differently, it’s my absolute credo. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/259106/image/large-848f31e2855eb67f5df5c8156f48eba3.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/259106">Choosing to build light implies a commitment to delivering yachts with shallow drafts. How else are you trying to maximise this across all your series?&nbsp;We’ll equip both the 80 Veloce and Gran Turismo series with waterjets. Waterjets are the safest way to arrive at high speeds and they can go in really shallow waters. And to overcome issues of sucking up sand (a particular issue in Miami), we’ve added a special sea chest. It's a simple, not crazy innovation.&nbsp;Coming from <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/166" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Wally (Company)">Wally</a>, I of course have taken inspiration from their model lines and I especially like what they’ve done with the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/166" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Wally (Company)">Wally</a> 118 Power – the James Bond yacht. But I’ve also listened closely to my friend and naval architect, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1206" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Studio Marco Arnaboldi (Company)">Marco Arnaboldi</a>, who designed many fast boats, including the CDP80 veloce. He’s one of the best in the world when it comes to waterjet technology. We decided to follow him on our design – there isn’t anyone better! <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/259100/image/large-e738a900d681e7e9b00f4677cfafd4fd.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/259100">An automotive designer and America’s Cup engineer collaborating on your designs. How did this come about?It’s simple. We want speed and performance, so why not bring in the best? A typical motor yacht goes around 18 to 20 knots, yet a high-performance America’s Cup sailing yacht reaches speeds of up to 40 knots – it’s a big difference, even if you factor out the foils. At <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/220" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cantieri di Pisa (Company)">Cantieri di Pisa</a> we want to use this knowledge to study the possibilities of reducing as much drag as possible with our yachts. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/260834/image/large-1241be498043c5a2ee330d299e207c7c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/260834">For the past 18 months,&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/220" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cantieri di Pisa (Company)">Cantieri di Pisa</a>&nbsp;has focused exclusively on refits. Why?&nbsp;We weren’t ready for new builds until now, we needed to establish ourselves. When we took over <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/220" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cantieri di Pisa (Company)">Cantieri di Pisa</a>, it hadn’t been operating for 10 years. We invested around €1.5 million to renovate the facilities and in the past 18 months, we have worked on 27 yachts, which brings a good level of return for the business: building capital and our reputation.&nbsp;Working as a refit yard has also put us in direct communication with many captains, which is great for our Research &amp; Development. For the past 18 months, we’ve been learning the trouble points and how to build a perfect yacht, designed for the captain.&nbsp;We’ve continued to invest and we’ll soon announce a new facility.&nbsp;

The yacht brokerage firm <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/158" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Fraser (Company)">Fraser</a> has teamed up with the design studio <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/15" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Vripack (Company)">Vripack</a> for a massive beach clean up, taking place over the course of this week across the globe. The nine-metre-long foil is mounted inside the hull below the waterline and extends outward from either side to deliver improved performance but with stability as its main purpose. “<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/175392/image/large-30bdcb1d155d63a64774f8b8f551f425.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/175392">In general terms, the DSS foil hugely decreases the heeling and pitching motions while underway,” Hawkins explains “What would be an impossible sit-down lunch under normal sailing conditions, now becomes a more manageable affair at sea, especially on bigger yachts such as this with its large deck spaces. Having owned several boats in the past from yards such as <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/166" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Wally (Company)">Wally</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/313" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nautor's Swan (Company)">Nautor’s Swa</a>n and even <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/327" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Baltic Yachts (Company)">Baltic</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6507" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Canova43.3m (142'1&quot;)Baltic Yachts2019">Canova’s</a>owner was looking for a completely new experience with his new boat. Simplicity, functionality, privacy and above all, comfort was what would become the common threads that connect every part of the yacht. “He had a dream of circumnavigating the world with this boat,” explains designer Lucio Micheletti, “and the project was born with this sole intention in mi<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/103588/image/large-160f6c1c90119076bfaf0ccdad0c1ef2.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/103588"><img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/175358/image/large-70b4e7c2d48e3a6d0b6bd7972138210b.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/175358">Subsequently, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4626" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Micheletti + Partners (Company)">Micheletti + Partners</a> designed a modern craft inspired by the automotive world as a home-away-from-home with a functional living experience at its centre. A distinctive deckhouse wing appears to be floating effortlessly on top of a glass and wooden base - materials that were carried through to the fluid and airy interior. “We worked on the total wellbeing of the passengers, trying to evaluate every aesthetic, from acoustics to lighting. We opened a dialogue between life on board and the surrounding sea,” says Micheletti.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/175439/image/large-37c6e79becc46865d0c83d0ca7524ec5.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/175439"><img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/175446/image/large-e79aa3528750ad3c1a3978f14f6c27f0.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/175446">RestoreFor the Milan-based Micheletti, the project’s design was a highly personal journey. “I met the owner through this project and I found a very knowledgeable person, a lover of art and life at sea,” he recalls. “The true art of a yacht project lies in resonating with the owner, and we succeeded in creating a space where he can find a point of reference each time he returns to the boat. A place where he can recognise himself and that represents his personality.” <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/175418/image/large-47fcbbde93a320a790bb07a399068702.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/175418"><img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/175444/image/large-673df69edaec1bda8585bc941b1fc7f4.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/175444">Teak from the outside has been carried through as a central theme to the interior where it is used in various applications, from matte-finished flooring to high-gloss handrails. The large dinette and lounge area inside the deckhouse form the social heart of the yacht and transforms into a trendy and elegant relaxation area at night with enhanced mood lighting and an unobstructed view through the glazed windows that wrap around the structure.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/103584/image/large-f161231990138913f7cbacd0f7e04af2.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/103584"><img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/175445/image/large-1a8fe36bca54136d5ee6264a0130e9c5.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/175445">Below deck, a three-cabin layout provides accommodation for up to six guests, culminating in the 65-square-metre full-beam master suite that is placed amidships. The suite features a unique 'gimbal bed' which contains a gyro-like device that stabilises the bed against the motion of the sea for maximum comfort, and the space is finished with a private lounge and study, a sauna and a hidden treadmill.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/103585/image/large-804edf4437f03399b049916a5f95e37d.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/103585"><img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/175448/image/large-af82080d7834e21ebe353470b49c49a6.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/175448">Recharge<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6507" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Canova43.3m (142'1&quot;)Baltic Yachts2019">Canova</a> is the first electrically-driven sailing yacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/327" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Baltic Yachts (Company)">Baltic</a> has built and the first with regeneration capacity that could effectively deliver a zero-emissions cruising experience. “People’s desire to become more aware of the environment and their footprint on the planet is a key point of focus for us,” says Hawkins. While under sail, the highly-efficient front-facing propeller acts as a hydro-generator which turns the 420 kW electric motor, storing energy in the six banks of batteries on board. “When you are sailing and regenerating power at the same time, you should not have to burn any fossil fuels. The supply is around 20 KW and upwards, which should be enough for the household load.”<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/175388/image/large-4771cc488e33c058bbb02d3c3206a7d2.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/175388">One of the requirements was to achieve a 10-hour operational range for the batteries without the need for generator power. These generators can also be used to charge the batteries while sailing, creating silent power for when <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6507" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Canova43.3m (142'1&quot;)Baltic Yachts2019">Canova</a> reaches her destination. “The regeneration, storage and use of power on yachts is becoming a very hot topic and we already have similar drives with regenerative capabilities being installed on the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Article/51228" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Full steam ahead on new Baltic 117 and 146 superyacht projects (2020-04-30 10:30:00 +0200)">Baltic 117</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Article/51132" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Baltic Yachts unveils eco-friendly Baltic 68 Cafe Racer yacht (2020-03-31 15:00:00 +0200)">68 Cafe Racer</a> projects that are currently under construction.”<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/175369/image/large-ad248f92311c30c001c57504e4874fa1.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/175369">ResetDesigned to be operated in remote areas around the world, simplicity in every system on board was a key part of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6507" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Canova43.3m (142'1&quot;)Baltic Yachts2019">Canova’s</a> brief. This had to be true for her sail-handling setup too, which was expertly devised by naval architects <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/152" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Farr Yacht Design (Company)">Farr Yacht Design</a> together with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/327" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Baltic Yachts (Company)">Baltic Yachts</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/758" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="North Sails (Company)">North Sails</a>. Expected to sail whenever the wind allows, a carbon rig by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/458" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Rondal B.V. (Company)">Rondal</a> with Carbo-link standing rigging supports an all-round sail plan that is easy to handle for her crew and requires minimal maintenance. “The rig is designed to be left-hoisted in areas where you might not expect it,” explains Hawkins. “Instead of a Code Zero, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6507" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Canova43.3m (142'1&quot;)Baltic Yachts2019">Canova</a> has a quad sail that is double sheeted, enabling the sail to be used across a much wider wind range where another sail might have to be taken down.” <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/175321/image/large-1320deaab6a7b7f4a7ac9e607dbbb1df.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/175321">The big staysail also comes with a few tricks of its own, running on a self-tacking track which eliminates the need to use sheets when reaching upwind using this sail. With sails generally designed for optimum performance at full-hoist, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6507" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Canova43.3m (142'1&quot;)Baltic Yachts2019">Canova’s</a> efficient square-top main is equally powerful with one reef in it, allowing the head of the sail to come in below the top deflector and simplifying gybing and tacking manoeuvres. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/175315/image/large-fda0a2d6361e797a3ae8de870396507e.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/175315"><img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/175309/image/large-3d0bfbe8bb2defb303d0b2fb1bd048ce.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/175309">Relax<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6507" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Canova43.3m (142'1&quot;)Baltic Yachts2019">Canova</a> exudes an air of relaxation and tranquillity palpable from the minute one steps aboard. The spacious guest cockpit and inviting built-in lounge are where family and friends get together after a long day at sea. A floating hardtop extends aft from the deckhouse and creates a wind-free corner for guests to relax while underway, with single-piece drop-down glass panels providing shelter without interrupting the view – an area that Micheletti explains required some creative thinking. “The most complex part was the design of the deckhouse with its ‘wing’ which had to protect the cockpit and make the boat ‘fly’,” he says.&nbsp;The signature teak-cladded side pillars in particular were designed as a functional detail instead of a decorative feature, while still suiting the overall aesthetic. In addition, the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2447" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Southern Spars (Company)">Southern Spars</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/758" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="North Sails (Company)">North Sails</a> teams included a wide choice of code and asymmetric sails set on fixed or soft stays with halyard locks, tacked to the deck or forward on the integral bowsprit for an easy-to-handle configuration. “By focusing on systems usability, these and other details make handling Liara’s running rigging and sail inventory much easier and faster so we can be sailing from anchor up in the shortest period of time,”&nbsp;explains co-skipper John Walker.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/96756/image/large-8303186f7a72735529cbfd9110ecd761.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/96756"><img src="/uploads/store/photo/96764/image/large-0d74fdcf18cc09397d08e137bdfa6708.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/96764">For maximum efficiency under sail, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/327" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Baltic Yachts (Company)">Baltic</a> fitted its Retractable Propulsion System (RPS) to Liara - “a major engineering challenge for Baltic Yachts that took us eight months to plan and engineer,” explains in-house project manager Tommy Johansson. In addition to acting as s stern thruster when manoeuvring, Liara also accelerates much faster with her propeller retracted according to <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4373" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design (Company)">MMYD</a>.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/96755/image/large-3199ae5f02f44515bae713d26993884b.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/96755">Under engine power, &nbsp;the main engine is offset and drives the RPS via a 90 degree bevel gearbox. &nbsp;With a large lithium ion battery bank Liara can run in ‘silent’ mode for up to eight hours with all ‘hotel’ services running, including air conditioning. Built for an experienced owner who was represented during the build by Fluidsailing's Mattia Belleri, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6507" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Canova43.3m (142'1&quot;)Baltic Yachts2019">Canova</a> stands out from other sailing yachts in her class having been fitted with a DSS foil below the waterline that extends outward from either side of the hull for improved stability and performance. <img src="/uploads/store/photo/95726/image/large-a60adafc40dac476dbe5faaa56b08284.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/95726">Having been sailed in various wind conditions, from light breeze to rough weather, the Baltic team has found the foil to exceed expectation and will continue to fine-tune the setup to capitalise on its potential. Combined with a powerful all-carbon rig by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/458" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Rondal B.V. (Company)">Rondal</a> with Carbo-link standing rigging, the additional stability provided by the foil reduces the heel angle and overall comfort on board. This synergy has been achieved through the partnership from naval architects Farr Yacht Design, sail supplier <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/758" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="North Sails (Company)">North Sails</a>, DSS developer <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5516" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Infiniti Yachts (Company)">Infiniti Yachts</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/327" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Baltic Yachts (Company)">Baltic’s</a> team of engineers. A large fixed bimini extends aft over the cockpit that follows the same level as the deckhouse for an uninterrupted indoor-outdoor feeling. Single-piece glass panels on either side of the cockpit protect guests from the elements and can be lowered when at anchor.
