Oceanic Yachts

Hull number one of the Oceanic Yachts 90 STS was launched earlier this month after being sold in January 2014. Named Tsa Tsa, the Oceanic Yachts 90’ STS was built by Cantiere Navale di Ostia – Canados. The explorer vessel is in straight shaft version and made her debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival at the beginning of September. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/150769/image/large-5b598a7f0b304be4f0654ae87902120c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/150769"><img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/150770/image/large-8fdb684d5cdb7e029b40cf186ecf7092.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/150770"> <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/150771/image/large-b44e5c7f04eaf7d8c5cb76f389d86899.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/150771">The inaugural superyacht offers an abundance of luxurious amenities, including the spacious upper deck owner’s suite which comes with an exclusive private terrace. Guests are accommodated over a VIP cabin and an additional two guest cabins located on the lower deck. The primary timbers used throughout will consist of limed Grey Oak, Macassar Ebony, Wengé, lacquered wood and wood floors. The saloon perfectly incorporates these materials with a cream coloured L shaped seating area, and glass dining area. The convertible aft deck features oversized modular sofas, and will stow a 6.50 metre diesel powered SACS tender. The vessel is also well equipped with a range of other impressive water toys and tenders, including two 3-seater personal water-crafts, 2 Seabobs and one JetLev, which will all be stored in the transom garage. An additional stand-up JetSki will be installed on the deck, right under the 1.5 ton capacity Opacmare crane.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/150778/image/large-e772e7761fdad6c41f29d99076ed5aaa.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/150778">The engine room will be buffered from the lower deck amenities by a spectacular sound insulation system engineered like on a 50 metre yacht and the by the vast crew quarters and custom made galley. In this version, the 90' can run either on its two Caterpillar C32 Acert engines for speeds up to 27 knots or, alternately, on its two electric motors fed by the two generators. Superyacht of the Week: Tsa Tsa

Whilst at the Cannes Yachting Festival last week, SuperYacht Times’ Merijn de Waard had the chance to attend the sea-trials of hull #1 in the new line of explorer vessels from Oceanic Yachts, the Oceanic Yachts 90’ STS. The philosophy of the line is extended outdoor and indoor living volumes, the ability to carry large toys and tenders, high performance, and ability to navigate at economic speed with low fuel consumption.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/150593/image/large-923017c831b40f89ba8945dcef6badb1.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/150593">The first yacht, Tsa Tsa, in the new line was sold in January of this year, and has since been successfully launched and delivered to her owners. She features interiors by the in-house design studio at Ocean Yachts in collaboration with the owner, using materials such as Grey Oak, Macassar Ebony, Wengé and lacquered wood throughout.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/150594/image/large-b499cb31e419c96260ba2abf626ca6c9.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/150594">Amongst the amenities offered by this first yacht is an upper deck owner’s suite with a private terrace, while a VIP plus two guest cabins are located on the lower deck.The vessel comes with a wide range of tenders and water toys.
