The design for <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/54" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Heesen Yachts (Company)">Heesen</a>'s latest 60-metre custom project SkyFall is now taking shape as the Dutch shipyard began construction on 1 October on the lead up to her 2023 delivery. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/177071/image/large-f617cb52abe59bd6b94ac931b8b35979.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/177071">With a 450 BC Greek coin laid on her keel, SkyFall has been created for an owner wanting a high-speed superyacht. Making the owner's brief a reality are <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/55" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Omega Architects (Company)">Omega Architects</a> and interior designer <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/168" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Harrison Eidsgaard (Company)">Harrison Eidsgaard</a> who, along with the team at <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/54" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Heesen Yachts (Company)">Heesen</a>, have estimated that the yacht will be capable of a top speed of 37 knots.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/177070/image/large-49246334c229fac1daffb51819734ee5.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/177070">Set to be <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/54" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Heesen Yachts (Company)">Heesen’</a>s most powerful yacht to date, SkyFall is to be fitted with waterjet propulsion on a platform inspired by sportfisher yachts. Up to 22,000 hp will be generated from four MTU 20V 4000 engines with four Kongsberg S90 waterjets and Tier III drive steerable jets. Waterjet drives help to lower the yacht’s draught to less than 3 metres and reduce vibration and three gyro-stabilisers will keep the yacht comfortable.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/177068/image/large-333a2fdfc447b8150c24a17f26dcf956.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/177068">Sporting a lightweight aluminium Fast Displacement Hull Form complete with course fins and interceptor trim plates, the 900 GT yacht has enough volume for five staterooms and ten overnight guests. While the owner is allocated the bridge deck aft with a large suite, private terrace, whirlpool spa and lounge, the remaining staterooms are located on the lower deck.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/177066/image/large-47c8f5c13d97b59eb663d89ad7663a10.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/177066">On the main deck, guests will be able to find a lounge and alfresco dining area on the aft terrace that are connected by sliding doors. Further forward, a media room features a cinema and a games table.
