Outer Reef Yachts launches 27m yacht Julianne

Outer Reef Yachts has launched the 27m motor yacht Julianne, the first unit of its Outer Reef 900 series.

After more than a year on the market, the 26m yacht Simon Says has been sold with a last known asking price of $4,795,000.

Outer Reef has announced the delivery of an 860 Deluxbridge Skylounge Motoryacht named <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/7086" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ruff Seas26.3m (86'3&quot;)">Ruff Seas</a>. The yard added that the 26.3-metre, all-GRP yacht is the fourth Outer Reef delivered to the client.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/46489/image/large-fdb9f1b4cb002204ca4fa97100312f75.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/46489">Constructed in Taiwan, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/7086" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ruff Seas26.3m (86'3&quot;)">Ruff Seas</a> features a semi-displacement hull configuration. Featuring naval and exterior designs from the yard, the tri-deck superyacht can sleep eight comfortably. A full beam master’s suite can be found on the lower deck, along with one forward VIP cabin in the bow and another located aft. One twin room brings the total number of guest cabins to four. Additionally, each stateroom has en-suite bathroom facilities. Further aft, there are two crew cabins, a lounge, and crew galley.As the helm has been raised to the climate-controlled flybridge deck, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/7086" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ruff Seas26.3m (86'3&quot;)">Ruff Seas</a> has an open country-style kitchen amidships on the main deck which includes a cooking island and bar seating.&nbsp;Twin CAT C32 engines power the superyacht and enable her to reach top speeds of 22.5 knots. Standout features include the yacht’s fuel capacity of 11,365 litres, which provide her with long-range bluewater capabilities, her Trac Zero Speed stabilisers, a solar panel assisted electrical system, and custom Opacmare swim platform hydraulic lift.&nbsp;The Fort Lauderdale-based Outer Reef has mentioned that <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/7086" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ruff Seas26.3m (86'3&quot;)">Ruff Seas</a> owners plan to cruise her through the Bahamas, and with a draught of 1.67-metres, reaching even the most secluded spots shouldn't be an issue.&nbsp;Outer Reef Yachts will be displaying Pakiri, a 630 Motoryacht at the Cannes Yachting Festival which will take place from 11th to 16th September.&nbsp;

Outer Reef hands over 26m Ruff Seas

Fort Lauderdale based company Outer Reef Yachts has today announced that their new 24 metre Classic Series yacht will make her world debut at the upcoming edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival in just a couple of weeks time.

Built for a European client, the go-anywhere vessel has been fully customised to suit the client’s passion for entertaining, with particular emphasis on cordon-bleu style cooking, wine and music. As part of this, the owner’s commissioned a concert hall-style entertainment system and ensured an expansive interior complete with all the luxuries one would expect on a luxury yacht.

Trevor DeFaoite, Outer Reef’s European Sales Director, comments, “We have delivered a classic yacht with a modern and unique twist, to an exemplary level. And, to my knowledge, this combination is unprecedented in this boat genre anywhere in the world.”

She accommodates guests over a large full beam master suite in addition to two VIP staterooms, all of which are en-suite. Performance wise, she is powered by twin CAT C-12 engines, providing her with a top speed of 14.5 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots.

The Cannes Yachting Festival will take place from 6th to 11th September.

Outer Reef Yachts to debut 24m Classic Series yacht in Cannes

The U.S. shipyard Outer Reef Yachts has recently revealed their latest range of superyachts, the Trident 3000 Fast Displacement Motoryacht Series. The series will be comprised of two models: the 29.87 metre Trident 3000, and the 32.3 metre Trident 3200, both designed by Ward Setzer of Setzer Yacht Architects.

Defining characteristics of both models will include expansive entertainment zones, contemporary living spaces, and smart storage areas throughout. The flybridge is set to be a guest-favourite, with a large sunroof, ample seating, an al fresco dining area, a wet bar, sun loungers and companion helm seating.

Inside on the main deck, each vessel will feature a full beam owner’s suite located on the main deck. On the Trident 3200, a transom door opens to a sports cabana, creating a unique inside/outside environment for the owners to fully take advantage of. An additional four spacious cabins are found on the lower deck.

Performance-wise, the series will be powered by standard CAT C-18 engines, which will provide a top speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots. CAT C-32 engines are also offered to prospective owners, which will provide an increased top speed of 21 knots, and a cruising speed of 17.5 knots.

Both models in the series will be built by Outer Reef Yachts’ partner shipyard in Anacortes, Washington. The brand expect that they will move forward with tooling for the series later this Spring.
