The yacht will be branded under the new firm <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6686" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="ProMarine Yachts S.A. Her exterior design is characterised by smooth lines and meticulously carved surfaces from the minds at <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/251" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Alpha Marine Ltd - Yacht Designers & Naval Architects (Company)">Alpha Marine</a> to create a timeless yacht with character, practicality and quality as a top priority.“A long concept realisation process was followed until we reached the final design. The result is a super elegant modern-classic yacht with all the dynamism a younger audience would look for.” said yacht designer and naval architect Aristotelis Betsis.&nbsp;The First is one of the few yachts its size on the market to be equipped with cutting edge diesel-electric set up and Azimuth thrusters. The new semi-custom series yacht has the option for different interior layouts with either a five or six stateroom configuration.“The owner had in mind what he liked and what he didn’t, but the yacht should not only satisfy the owner’s taste. She has also to satisfy the taste of a greater audience, as this yacht comes first in the owner’s new venture” said Aristotelis Betsis.&nbsp;The naval architecture and marine engineering of The First will be carried out by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/251" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Alpha Marine Ltd - Yacht Designers & Naval Architects (Company)">Alpha Marine</a>. Her hull is slender and will offer relatively low resistance and incredible seakeeping characteristics. The hull will also offer sufficient space for onboard amenities and facilities while remaining under 500 GT. The First has been designed and will be built following and exceeding the highest standards of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1457" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="RINA (Company)">RINA</a> classification society.&nbsp;“We created a new hull from scratch which could accommodate the yacht’s requirements in the best possible way. But our task does not end there. The structural design has been simple enough to ease the building process and sophisticated enough to reduce the weight and increase the strength of the yacht.” said Thomas Gkouliouras, Technical Director, Naval Architect.The layout of the yacht has been designed to offer a comfortable stay for long-term living onboard as well the best choice when it comes to chartering.
