<p><a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6739" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Proton Yachting  (Company)">Proton Yachting</a> has unveiled its new flagship tender, the Proton 42, which is aimed at accompanying a superyacht. The new 13-metre Proton 42 tender has been designed for performance and offers a chic and timeless design.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/234616/image/large-3290f3c2fc3d5eee589e52f1a11ab411.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/234616">The Proton 42 is handcrafted from aluminium and has been designed and engineered in collaboration with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5697" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Trimm Design (Company)">Trimm Design</a>. She can carry 12 guests with berths for four people. The Proton 42 will be constructed at the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6739" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Proton Yachting  (Company)">Proton Yachting</a> shipyard in Harlingen, Netherlands. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/234617/image/large-0747d58381ce85a783506629a4186c30.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/234617">The Proton 42 is the ideal superyacht chaseboat and also offers a towing hook in the bow. This will give her owner the possibility to easily transport the Proton 42 anywhere around the world.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/234618/image/large-7076757a60b66904fc1fe19634490cb4.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/234618">The Proton 42 tender is equipped with twin <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5750" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Mercury Marine (Company)">Mercury</a> Diesel 550 horsepower engines in combination with Zeus Pod Drives. Alternatively, she can also be equipped with three Mercury 600 horsepower engines as well.</p><p>The Proton 42 will be the largest model to date from <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6739" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Proton Yachting  (Company)">Proton Yachting</a>.</p>
