The 59.22 metre explorer yacht Senses is currently in the advanced stages of a refit project which began in August this year. The yacht <a href="#managed-by-application" target="_blank" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Article/44592">arrived</a> in Auckland in July. Built by the Fr. Schweers shipyard in Germany in 1999, Kusch Yachts and Francis Design were in charge of her naval architecture and exterior design of superycht Senses.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/157400/image/large-f49fb60a1b93adf7d593149080ae0b96.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/157400">Currently overseeing the refit is local Auckland company Integrated Marine Group, with Robinson Interiors also involved in the interior refurbishing of the yacht. Details surrounding the project is still unknown.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/157401/image/large-fa7e9dc9b79608357cc9503aea1f9156.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/157401">The 59.22m superyacht explorer has been designed to cruise the globe in style, with 6 staterooms accommodating 12 guests on board including a full-beam master suite stretching the entire 12.7m beam. According to her builder, individual and group visitors viewed Liara on average every 15 minutes throughout the period of the show. The lines and stylings of the PY-100 Liara come from the experienced team of Dixon Yacht Design (architects, exterior styling, interior design), Southern Ocean Marin (builders), and Robinson Marine Interiors (interior joiner). Robinson Marine Interiors are pleased to announce the signing of a contract with Pendennis in the UK to manufacture and install the interior for a 105ft sailing yacht currently under construction. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/127642/image/large-d3b1c7ac69b9a35d47ddb1b47738977b.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/127642">Designed by Barracuda Yacht Design with interior design by Javier Munoz, the interior is being 3D modelled and manufactured in its facility in Auckland, New Zealand, and then shipped to Pendennis where the installation team will complete the fit out of the interior. The project is scheduled to complete in the summer of 2010. With a well established reputation and highly successful track record in the New Zealand, Australian and United States market place, Robinson Marine Interiors is now expanding into the European market place. Robinson Marine Interiors secures interior contract with Pendennis

Doug's background is based on a lifetime of experience in the yacht industry and includes working as New Zealand consultant for Trinity Yachts USA, New Build Manager for McMullen &amp; Wing Yacht &amp; Ship Builders, as well as owner's representative on a number of large refit and new build projects. Robinson Marine Interiors has seen considerable growth over the past few years and in order to ensure a continued strong focus on customer service, Managing Director Stuart Robinson felt that it was time to bring in additional support. Doug will be responsible for relations with existing clientele as well as the development of future business.
