Heesen Yachts has delivered project YN 16650, Monaco Wolf, on June 2, after intensive sea trials in the North Sea. Powered by the latest MTU 16V 4000 M73L engines, the semi-displacement Monaco Wolf hull exceeded the contractual speed by 0,4 knots, with very low levels of noise and vibrations.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/149006/image/large-696e2fab3eab93456f2f4be141b3fb13.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/149006">Designed by Omega Architects, she features a typical Heesen reverse sheer ‘pelican beak’ bow. Her interior design has been created by Italian designer Francesco Paszkowski.Owner’s Representative Howard Lowe from Royale Oceanic commented: “During the first day of sea trials we had the chance to test the vessel in moderate weather conditions with wind force 3 / 4 and waves around 1 metre. We met all requirements and the yacht performed well. Royale Oceanic opens new Monaco office

Royale Oceanic is pleased to announce the launch of the Royale Oceanic D-ISM system (Documentation – Information System Management) - a new, secure system for simplifying the day to day management of regulatory documentation at sea. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/128957/image/large-694d2434b823b56b0352b5320c4ddbc2.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/128957">A unique product in the market, Royale Oceanic has spent months developing and testing the product in live operations before offering it to their existing fleet of yachts under management. Working with captains and crew to develop and test the system before launch was considered key, so that the claim of accuracy and simplicity could be validated. The objective for the system is to ease the high workload of captains, officers and crews in dealing with the seemingly vast amount of paperwork required to operate yachts within legal constraints and comply with regular updates and revisions. Royale Oceanic D-ISM is specifically designed to alleviate the majority of this work, saving time and costs, as well as automatically providing a secure back-up to the entire portfolio of yacht’s documents and records. The benefits of the system are that documents and records are held off the yacht on a secure ‘shore side’ server, and this ‘documentation’ can be used and updated, so that all parties involved in managing the yacht are ‘reading from the same page’ on a real time basis. Additionally, in the event of a ship computer system ‘crash’ the documentation can immediately be retrieved from the secure Royale Oceanic server. The system is designed to be simple and robust with a sensible level of automation to avoid user error. There are automatic downloads, via a totally secure internet link and the yacht can access the documents via the Royale Oceanic D-ISM interface. An additional benefit could be that all M-Notices on the yacht’s server are automatically updated by the Royale Oceanic shore side server. Importantly, the system is designed to operate when out of range of the internet, but will immediately and automatically update all documentation once the vessel is back in broadband range. Royale Oceanic launches the Royale Oceanic D-ISM system

Royale Oceanic has strengthened its operation in Australia by opening an office in Sydney at Sydney City Marine's Longitude Development, located within the Rozelle Bay maritime precinct (adjacent to the Sydney Superyacht Marina). Qualified Naval Architect, Alex Robbins, who was formerly with Burness Corlett Three Quays in Southampton, UK becomes the new General Manager of the Sydney operation. Alex, who is an Australian citizen, will be returning to his home town to carry out his new position. The services offered by the new office will be tailored to suit the local client base and are in line with those offered by the Royale Oceanic Group. These can be typified as yacht owner’s representative service; encompassing new construction &amp; refit project management, technical services, survey and valuation. Commenting upon the new challenge, Alex said: “Despite the current global financial conditions, Royale Oceanic have taken a long-term view and decided to increase investment in the Australian market by establishing this new office. Most yacht projects are generally three to five years in duration, so if you pause until clear skies return, momentum and opportunity are often lost. The Private Client large yacht specialists Royale Oceanic have recently completed the Total Project Management which includes all commercial, legal and technical aspects, with its sister company Burness Corlett Three Quays providing naval architecture and marine engineering support for Sarafsa, the 82m superyacht built by Devonport. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125318/image/large-801efd66108c9bca158b085e1d741423.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125318">Following successful sea trials, Sarafsa - project name ‘P54’ - with its distinctive burgundy coloured hull and teak transom, departed from Plymouth Sound in early July to meet its owner for the season. The new yacht, designed by Andrew Winch replaces its predecessor which also sported a burgundy hull and teak transom, and was sold on behalf of its owner by Royale Oceanic at the end of 2007. Kevin Laverty, project director of Royale Oceanic who with his team ran the build of Sarafsa, is delighted with the results, “It is hugely satisfying to see Sarafsa leaving Plymouth after its four year build programme.
