The holiday celebrates the birthday of King Willem Alexander, with residents donning the streets in the Netherlands national colour, orange. The futuristic yacht concept is able to move and lift above the water surface, thanks to three hydrogen powered motors, each capable of providing 5,000 horsepower. The interior layout of Plectrum has been subdivided into four decks. Up to 9 guests are accommodated on board and she also has accommodation for 4 crew members including the captain of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/7582" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sarp XSR 85/0126.0m (85'4&quot;)Sarp Yachts2022">Sarp XSR 85/01</a>. The beauty of the XSR design is that her exterior deck spaces flow freely to the interior with the key element being the glass arrangement that surrounds the entire salon. The XSR series is a new concept of yacht and all the parties involved in to this great project, are proud of the high level of engineering found throughout the vessel. Sarp Yachts 26m XSR 85 launched

Sarp Yacht has launched the first XSR 85 motor yacht in Antalya.

Sarp Yachts has launched the long awaited 26m XSR 85 motor yacht

Two units of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2926" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sarp Yachts (Company)">Sarp Yachts</a>’ 26-metre motor yacht XSR 85 are currently in-build in Turkey. Emre Sandan, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2926" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sarp Yachts (Company)">Sarp Yachts</a>’ Shipyard Manager, reported to SuperYacht Times that production of the first hull is “70% complete”, with the second hull “58% complete", and both are expected to be delivered later this year. Though styled differently, each yacht sports a spacious main saloon with a lounge area and coffee table that can be converted into a dining table, a central bar table and wheelhouse to the fore. The lounge area can be converted into additional accommodation if necessary. The decking is outfitted in solid teak. New details and renderings have been revealed by the Antalya-based shipyard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2926" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sarp Yachts (Company)">Sarp Yachts</a> of its latest speculation project: the 62-metre motor yacht Nacre.&nbsp;&nbsp;With steel cutting on the vessel beginning last year, her hull is fully completed, the superstructure is 50% finished and the two should be joined together by the end of 2019, according to the shipyard, with the yacht's delivery expected for September 2021.&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/82518/image/large-d1d8dbb1ed5d961b3c34fc81c1c99900.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/82518">On board, Nacre accommodates 12 guests and 13 crew across a full-beam main deck master suite located forward, complete with private office and balcony, and four double guest cabins. Her exterior design features a classic bow and balances elegance with sporty and modern elements. Hot Lab to mark successful 2018 with annual Rendez-vous

For a second consecutive year, Hot Lab has brought together a select group of customers, collaborators, friends and two exclusive media partners to celebrate the end of a successful past 12 months in their stylish hometown of Milan. "We are very pleased that Hot Lab has selected our shipyard as the builder for this 67-metre Explorer that will flank our family line. A modern project with that special Italian flair, sober elegance and green mindset aimed to attract even the most demanding owners."&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/17482/image/large-d13ee39f5204b3da41d9ad72ddb21974.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/17482">For Baglietto CEO, Michele Gavino, this event is a great way to end off the year. “The Rendez-vous has been a very relaxing event and a great location to meet with industry and non-industry friends and colleagues.” The Italian shipyard worked with Hot Lab on expanding its V-Line line up this year, and we should be seeing more from these two Italian powerhouses in 2018. “We have long been talking about doing something new with our designs but that is still very much Baglietto, and Hot Lab has captured that very well. I feel the 38m is a very nice platform and we are also looking to presenting a tri-deck version of this entry-level Baglietto model.”<img src="/uploads/store/photo/17464/image/large-b327c73f03487f9da438362a1f2f04b9.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/17464">Maurizio Baldoni, Sales and Marketing Director at Arcadia, had this to say about the 2017 Rendez-vous: “It is a great event with a lovely atmosphere. Having friends here and also important industry people makes it a must-attend event for us, especially after the work we did with the studio this year.”&nbsp;Baldoni is, of course, referring to the A100+ (in-build) and a larger 47-metre project that is under development.As part of the displays of the evening was an impressive scale model of Hot Lab’s collaboration with Fincantieri on the 113-metre Ganimede project that was revealed earlier this year. Talking about the project, Fincantieri commented,&nbsp;“We see this as a starting point of a great collaboration. They are Italian and part of an industry we are happy to support, but also because they are a great fit for our company and extremely professional and dynamic – qualities that we greatly appreciate.”<img src="/uploads/store/photo/17463/image/large-61ebceab71d1a278d681e29b39412f66.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/17463">Talking about the event, Romano is already looking forward to an even bigger and better 2018 edition of this annual event, alongside partners Enrico Lumini and Michele Dragoni. Hot Lab welcomes A-list guests at annual Rendez-vous in Milan

Turkish shipyard Sarp is expected to start construction on its second motor yacht project under speculation. Named Nacre 55, the vessel measures 55.3 metres in length and will encompass a total volume of 750 GT. The designers at Hot Lab are behind the project’s design which is expected to be completed by 2020. <img src="/uploads/store/photo/15567/image/large-2da0897c1345a8be4a129bd78a6214c9.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/15567"> Accommodation for the 12 guests is split across two decks with the main deck housing a grand master suite as well as a VIP stateroom. Sarp Yachts to build new 55m superyacht

Revealed at the Monaco Yacht Show last week, Turkish shipyard Sarp Yachts has teamed up with the experts at Van Oossanen as well as fellow Turkish design team Red Yacht Design on a brand new range of superyachts. The XSR range consists of three sizes: the XSR 85, 105 and 125, all of which will be started upon speculation in Antalya. Utilising Van Oossanen’s revolutionary Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), performance, efficiency and comfort are at the heart of all three designs.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/14234/image/large-518df1d9a1abe792bddd6ec0e564c6c6.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/14234">The 32-metre XSR 105 will accommodate up to eight guests over a four cabin layout, including a full beam owner’s suite and a full beam VIP cabin. Performance wise, she will have a maximum speed of 20 knots, and a range of 900 nm at a cruising speed of 15 knots.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/14235/image/large-a2cb1fa360fee9755f4c345467cddabf.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/14235"> The 38.2-metre XSR 125 will accommodate up to 12 guests on board, with the full beam owner’s suite featuring a private terrace and sauna. A cruising speed of 14 knots offers a range of 1,800 nm. &nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/14236/image/large-97555f34d9c8b94078453867e40a4571.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/14236">Responsible for both the interior and exterior design of all three models, Red Yacht Design told SYT that the yachts have been developed in close collaboration with the team at Sarp Yachts. Floor to ceiling windows are found throughout the XSR range to enhance the connection with the ocean, whilst on all exterior decks only loose furniture is used to ensure the owner and his guests have the ability to easily use the yacht for cruising and making the best of the superyacht lifestyle, or hosting parties and social events on board.&nbsp;Emre Sandan of Sarp explains the environmentally friendly philosophy behind the new range, noting that when it comes to developing increasingly eco-friendly superyachts there is a certain level of responsibility from the industry’s shipbuilders: “We have great passion for nature and we are concerned about water and air pollution. Yachts with conventional propulsion systems may not be the first guilty party for the increasing of pollution, but as a pioneering shipyard in the Antalya Free Zone, Sarp Yachts is aware of its responsibilities towards the environment. Therefore, our brand new concept yacht family, XSR, will be built with the parallel hybrid propulsion systems; the best alternative for the fossil fuels. The hybrid propulsion system enables you to avoid the noise, vibrations, emissions and expense of running your diesel generators at anchor.”

Two weeks ago SYT visited the Turkish shipyard Sarp Yacht and witnessed their first project, the Sarp 46, in her final outfitting stage. The shipyard is currently working on getting the yacht ready ahead of schedule, for a possible display at this year's Monaco yacht Show in September. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/155572/image/large-f1ae3bcd0ae3fbf0d6ca39319cf0a0ae.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/155572">The superyacht features a unique composite superstructure and aluminium displacement hull combination, with the intention of improving stability while underway.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/155573/image/large-ed0175a0847ec6c88c31fe2212a54e63.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/155573">The yacht will accommodate 10 to 12 guests across 5 staterooms consisting of two double, two twin and a full beam master cabin. The yacht is said to be designed with practicality and functionality in mind, which her 10 crew are sure to appreciate. Sarp Yacht 46 nearing completion

British designer Stephen Huish has unveiled his latest interior designs for a 30 metre superyacht project in collaboration with Sarp Yachts. Named The Gem, Tanju Kalaycioglu of Taka Yacht Design is responsible for her exterior designs, with Taka Yacht Design also responsible for her naval architecture.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/151860/image/large-f5d8d3f64e16d0288316f7e266b95083.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/151860">Her interiors are of a modern, contemporary style and uses light materials as well as textured finishes, leathers and taupe colours, complemented by dark stained oak details and polished stainless steel high lights throughout. The light materials gives the yacht a spacious and airy feel.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/151861/image/large-ad61bae6989b72b1707a97e4273a2f67.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/151861">The raised salon is the heart of the vessel, and includes a central pop-up TV which swivels facing port or starboard, as well as large skylights adding to the spacious and light feeling on board.
