The fourth 27.5-metre Truly Classic 90 sailing yacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6848" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Joal27.5m (90'3&quot;)Shipborn">Joal</a> was launched last Friday in Nieuwegein, The Netherlands. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6848" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Joal27.5m (90'3&quot;)Shipborn">Joal</a> was constructed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5709" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Shipborn (Company)">Shipborn</a>, a new yard developed by her owner who had her built.&nbsp;The sailing yacht features interior design and naval architecture by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/33" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Hoek Design Naval Architects B.V. (Company)">Hoek Design Naval Architects</a>. Her aluminium hull was built at the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1491" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Bloemsma Aluminiumbouw (Company)">Bloemsma Aluminiumbouw</a> facility in Makkum, while <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2804" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Hall Spars (Company)">Hall Spars</a> Breskens are responsible for the construction of her spars. Inside, she is characterised by an open-plan custom interior layout, which sets her apart from her sisterships.&nbsp;Other new features onboard the sailing yacht include a hybrid propulsion propulsion package with a <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1450" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Volvo (Company)">Volvo</a> main engine and electrical backup propulsion with a Lithium battery pack. Additionally, she boasts hydraulically operated stern boarding ladder as well as a side boarding platform wherein the side boarding ladder emerges from the boarding platform.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/346677/image/large-42a5c97302937fbd438b96cc050c3623.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/346677">The TC 90 series kicked off with the launch of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/3638" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Kealoha27.5m (90'3&quot;)Claasen Shipyards2008">Kealoha</a>, which is the first yacht built by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1221" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Claasen Shipyards (Company)">Claasen Shipyards</a>.
