She features exterior design by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/407" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="William Garden (Company)">William Garden</a>, with naval architecture crafted via a collaboration with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/407" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="William Garden (Company)">William Garden</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/33" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Hoek Design Naval Architects B.V. The <a href="https://www.superyachttimes.com/yachts/corto-maltese/for-sale" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="">yacht Corto Maltese, for sale</a>, was launched in 1982 by the Canadian yacht builder as a ketch, but has since undergone a refit to convert her to a sloop rig.
