The 37-metre Sovereign superyacht Ocean Club has found a new owner.

In a recent in-house sale at Northrop &amp; Johnson, the 36-metre superyacht Symposia was sold with broker Philip Bell acting on behalf of the buyer, and Kevin Merrigan and Wes Sandford having represented the seller. Symposia was listed for sale at $4,950,000.

Symposia was built in 1999 in Canada at Sovereign Yachts. The yacht underwent a refit last year that restored her to her old glory. Today Symposia can often be found around the yachting hub of Fort Lauderdale.

Launched by Sovereign Yachts in 2001, superyacht Waterford, a custom raised pilothouse model, is still owned by her original owner after 14 years.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/152572/image/large-576c83d8d3d066322632d748e4d477bf.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/152572">Setzer Yacht Architects have been asked to redesign some of her features, and the yacht is now undergoing a major refit at American Custom Yachts in Stuart, FL.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/152573/image/large-814b0e509605a69359d2e24fbbc684e8.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/152573">The refit includes the reconfiguration of aft engineroom, lazzarette, and captain's cabin spaces, as well as a transom and flybridge extension to increase overall length by approximately 7 feet.

Superyacht Waterford to be lengthened

Yesterday on the first day of the Singapore Yacht Show, I visited superyacht Moon Sand. Built by Sovereign Yachts in New Zealand, she was designed by Ward Setzer. In her early days, the yacht was the flagship of the Royal New Zealand Squadron during the America's Cup.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/143661/image/large-f4e58b01ef7dc1810d0c88c456ebd35a.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/143661">Even though the yacht was launched nearly ten years ago, Moon Sand is in immaculate condition. She features a warm, cosy, yet highly luxurious interior, using exquisite materials throughout. Sovereign Yachts launches Al Duhail

New additions to our database include the 35 metre Sovereign <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/2026" data-legacy="true" href="#managed-by-application">Golden Boy II</a>, which is owned by one the youngest owners (24 years) in the industry.
