A number of offices were opening in Monaco and even Antibes, close to where we’re based, but they were yet to add yacht management to their portfolio,” Young explained. “We’re well aligned as we’re both customer driven. He had stepped aboard the yacht for the first time the day before and by the time I saw him he’d already had an offer on the vessel for $4 million more than he’d paid for her. “I’m not looking to sell the vessel but this really is a bull market in terms of ownership and I feel very lucky to have secured a vessel of this caliber.”Of course, not all brokerage houses are the same and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/526" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Northrop and Johnson (Company)">Northrop &amp; Johnso</a>n is certainly one that stands out from the rest. In addition they secured a 20 percent reduction in the average number of days on the market. Kevin Merrigan commented, “We have state-of-the-art marketing, a proprietary intelligence system, but also partnerships with some of the biggest companies in the aviation industry which have an excellent crossover with yachting.” But what does this really mean for an owner?&nbsp;For Jim Glidewell, the answer lies in the experience. “For every vessel I've sold and purchased, I know that the team has got me the best deal and that my assets and I have been in safe hands.” So what makes a good broker? “You have to trust your broker. That is the person who needs to know everything about the yacht and about you as a buyer. Trust and credibility come into play. SYM Superyacht Management has announced the sale of the third Benetti BNow 50 yacht, project FB603, due for delivery in 2022.

The first Amels 188 superyacht was launched this month as the Dutch builder’s latest breed of superyacht. At 57.7 metres in length, Volpini 2 is not only longer than her sisters of the successful Amels 180 range but also larger in size with an internal volume of 970 GT.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/33707/image/large-8bc9dad7996b5ceaa10cf410bce4c7f8.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/33707">Amels once again teamed up with designer Tim Heywood for the exterior of the project who styled the new Amels 188 with a familiar swoosh of his pen while also adding several new styling touches that makes the yacht instantly recognisable. For this first project in the range, her owners selected Reymond Langton to design the customised interior spaces.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/33706/image/large-d3d3a78876946c38f9b1ea8990452a93.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/33706">Some of the stand out features of Volpini 2 include a 30-square-metre beach club at the stern along with a wellness centre and gym.
