Currently, 60 yachts are under construction or on order, totalling over 2,700 metres in length.&nbsp;Petrozzi also shared the geographical breakdown of the order backlog: Europe (35%), MEA and APAC (33%) and the Americas (32%). Their latest focus has been on alternative fuels, leading to the adoption of HVO, with Benetti noting that HVO can cut CO2 emissions by up to 90 percent compared to traditional fossil fuels.While HVO is currently the most viable option, its production is limited by the availability of raw materials. Every yacht is assigned a dedicated Service Manager during the warranty period, backed by a global network of Service Points that ensure quick and specialised assistance worldwide. Telemar Completes Americanisation of superyacht Primadonna

Three years after acquiring Telemar Yachting SRL as a wholly-owned subsidiary, CG Telemar SpA has now integrated the Viareggio superyacht electronics subsidiary into the CG Telemar Group as a full operating division under which all of the CG Telemar group's yachting activities will be consolidated. The new division will retain the "Telemar Yachting" name. "Since acquiring Telemar Yachting, we have been pleased with their consistent success in difficult global trading conditions," commented Bruno Musella CG Telemar's Managing Director, "This move brings even greater synergies and opportunities for the Telemar group's success in the superyacht industry." CG Telemar integrates and expands Telemar Yachting

Telemar Yachting, the Viareggio-based Integrated Marine Electronics Specialists, has reached an agreement to buy Telemar Yachting's US agent, Al T Marine Electronics LLC and the establishment of a permanent US operation in South Florida. The transaction is subject to due diligence by Telemar and is scheduled for closing before 1 January 2010. The new entity will operate under the brand name of "Telemar Yachting the Americas" and be based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. "We are very pleased in these challenging economic times to be able to keep moving forward with our own global strategic plan," said Telemar Yachting's General Manager, Andy Gifford, "It's even better that it could be with a company and, more importantly, with individuals we know so well." Telemar Yachting buys Al T Marine Electronics

Telemar Yachting has signed two projects for Italian builder Codecasa. The two 65-metre yachts, projects C118 and F71, will have the most comprehensive electronics, navigation and audio visual packages to date. Telemar Yachting will install all of the electronics including VSAT and as a result the Audio Visual System could be integrated with the yacht's computer network and navigation system. "Because both owners decided to use Telemar for the complete package, we are able to do some very special things giving the owner and guests maximum flexibility," said Telemar's Andy Gifford, "These are certainly the most comprehensive and sophisticated installations we've done to date." The installations include a dedicated autonomous cinema room with the electronics integrated into the yachts central distribution which will provide virtually unlimited viewing options including movies, music and global satellite TV. The yachts will also be fully IPOD-Integrated, meaning that anyone can plug their IPOD or IPhone into docking stations in all spaces in the yacht to enjoy their personal music directly. Telemar Yachting signs two new 65m Codecasa projects

Telemar Yachting has just completed the design and installation of the navigation and racing system, communications, VSAT internet data, entertainment package plus TV-sat for a new 130 foot Wally Ocean Racer Cannonball, the fastest monohull yacht in the world today. Cannonball’s comprehensive package included a complete suite of specialised B&amp;G racing electronics designed by Telemar's Racing Specialist Paolo Tagliapietra. "From an electronics standpoint, a racing yacht is a completely different challenge from a normal superyacht, the placement and presentation of the equipment must be optimised to enable the crew to get the highest performance out of the yacht" said GM, Andy Gifford, "We are very fortunate here at Telemar to have a person with Paolo's experience head up this project." Telemar Yachting completes work on 130ft Wally superyacht

Integrated Marine Electronics Specialists Telemar Yachting announced that it will be providing Integrated Navigation Systems on two yachts now being built in Zuhai, China by IAG yachts.
