She identified a market gap in Thailand where yachting was limited, and aimed to develop the industry to make it accessible for both locals and tourists.Omi then moved on to describe her hands-on approach to building her fleet and how she had personally visited every island and location before offering itineraries to guests. He highlighted Dubai's strategic global position, connecting the East and West, and its efforts in tourism development over time.Issam noted a significant influx of individuals relocating to Dubai, particularly since the COVID-19 pandemic. This influx has brought with it numerous family offices and wealth. He emphasised the economic impact of superyachts visiting the region and how Dubai ensures that those relocating to the city have access to maritime experiences.Issam elaborated on the importance of continually improving infrastructure and offerings to attract and retain visitors. Additionally, he highlighted how Dubai's favourable weather contributes to its appeal as a yachting destination.Lastly, Issam mentioned the importance of collaboration with stakeholders to address any issues and ensure a seamless experience for visitors and residents alike.
