Previously named Imbros, she was built by the Turkish shipyard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1308" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Troy Marine (Company)">Troy Marine</a> and delivered in 2010. Constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/2332" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="The Big Blue42.0m (137'10&quot;)Troy Marine2010">The Big Blue</a> features naval architecture and exterior design penned by her builder, while her interior comes from the drawing boards of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1612" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ugur Isik (Company)">Ugur Isik</a>, who also collaborated with the shipyard for the exterior lines. The 395 GT superyacht can accommodate 10 guests offering comfort and luxury across five staterooms. The explorer yacht is powered by twin 750 horsepower <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1450" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Volvo (Company)">Volvo</a> D16 MH diesel engines which provide the yacht with a top speed of 14 knots, cruising speed of 11 knots and a range of 3,500 nautical miles.
