Edmiston has recently announced the sale of the 25.81 metre catamaran Bradley, which was built by the French shipyard H2X Yachts &amp; Ships in 2007. She features naval architecture and exterior design by Vaton Design.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/154081/image/large-475978808e4a72ca37f3bf54892e616e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/154081">On board she accommodates up to 14 guests as well as a crew of 4. Amongst her stand out features are her large interior volumes provided by her wide beam of 10.64 metres. Nahema is officially introducing the Fenomen by Nahema, an amazing 150-foot mega-catamaran. Fenomen by Nahema – A limited series of 150-foot mega-catamarans 

Gilles Vaton, the architect of the Nahema 120, has designed a very innovative and aesthetic boat, with slender and pure lines, both fast and secure at sea. Built in epoxy on a female mould, the Nahema 120 structures will be strengthened by the extensive use of carbon on the most demanding areas. It will be certified Bureau Veritas and MCA. Gilles Vaton: “The Nahema 120 offers three times more space on the deck and the salon than a monohulls of her size. It is even wider than a 120 feet motor yacht. Designing such a large catamaran is very interesting. Thanks to the use of composite you have a very strong and light deck, with a rectangular shape. There is no waste of space. You can use the whole area for the guest’s pleasure. The Nahema 120 will be fast, which is for me an important safety device. In France, we really have a Multihull culture and we love offshore races. The architects use their experience of drawing offshore race boats to design their cruising catamarans. This guarantees the quality, safety and performances of our designs.” Gilles Vaton’s office is located in Marseille (France), next door to Nahema’s. In 26 years dedicated to designing the best boats, he has worked on racing and cruising monohulls, one-offs, catamarans and even work boats. He is famous for having designed Arrayan I and II, Blooper, Koriolan, Vogue, the all carbon Blue Diamond, and lately Zurbagan. He is also the architect of Adrien now L'Oreal aboard which Jean-Luc Van den Heede holds the round the world against the winds single handed record. Gilles Vaton speaks about the Nahema 120

Nahema is a new luxury catamaran builder, with head offices in Marseille in the South of France. Nahema designs and builds cruising catamarans over 100 feet. Nahema’s CEO, Pierre Lacagne, thinks there is a great potential for luxury catamarans in the yacht market. Nahema will exhibit at the Monaco Yacht Show (19-22nd September) and the Fort Lauderdale Yacht Show (25-29th October). Nahema arose from the meeting between: <ul> <li>A first customer, passionate and demanding owner, in search of a <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1400">110 feet catamaran</a>, combining a great design with performance, and luxury. </li> <li>An internationally renowned architect, Gilles Vaton. </li> <li>A comprehensive team of management, effective and capable of satisfying all the requirements of such a challenging project. </li>

Our Nahemas are fast with carbon dagger boards, rotating mast and luxurious inside with a lot of space on the deck. They feature a huge access from the cockpit to the main saloon making a great living space. The <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1400">first unit (110 feet)</a> will display four suites and the whole yacht living area will measure 195 square meters. This is a unique project." Franck Darnet was selected as the Designer for the first unit. Franck Darnet has a great experience in working both for large production shipyards such as Beneteau and custom yachts builders both sail and motor such as JFA, Garcia, Lazarra and CNB collaborating with famous architects as Bruce Farr, Philippe Briand. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/122670/image/large-bd7511b15fe8fbb14b1a2c4f8f9c2cbe.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/122670"> Franck Darnet says “We have answered to the requirements of an open, very clear interior where the cockpit and the salon would make one large leaving space. The shipyard also asked us to pay attention to the lightness of the materials used to build a fast boat. Finally this first Nahema had to be as convenient as possible for the guests and the crew to leave aboard”. Franck Darnet works on the project with Karine Rousseau, a French Designer with offices in Miami, and lots of references in designing interiors of luxurious homes and hotels. <noscript></noscript>
