Her beautiful interior is from the drawing boards of Claudia Rijntjes, with her exterior design by Verkerk Yachting ProjectsOn board, Sherakhan&nbsp;accommodates up to 26 guests across 13 luxurious and individually-styled guest cabins, comprising one master suite, two VIP suites, four double cabins and six twin cabins. Charter deal of the week: the 70m expedition superyacht Sherakhan 

ICON Yachts have announced that they have been commissioned to refit the 1945 gross tonnage Sherakhan. The refit is being managed by Verkerk Yachting Projects, the owners of the yacht.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/150975/image/large-3fa6da79cc892eccd493057ac1645074.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/150975">Sherakhan will be repainted and will take on board new generators. During her brief visit to the yard, ICON will perform a thorough systems service and maintenance campaign.The 69.65 metre (228’5) Sherakhan was built in 1966, but was fully rebuilt in 2004 to become a head-turning superyacht. The yacht, which has an excellent charter reputation, boasts a contemporary interior with outstanding features including a huge open main saloon with dining area for 26.After her refit, Sherakhan will depart for the Caribbean.By Maarten Janssen

Sherakhan undergoing refit at ICON Yachts

Diana Yacht Design is finalizing the design for the transformation of the 73 metre explorer yacht Legend (ex: Giant). ICON Yachts has been commissioned to complete this bespoke conversion project.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/150544/image/large-bc731a31cbbeaf386f3a32ee655b1382.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/150544">Legend is a fully classified Class 1 icebreaking ship, which will be converted into a superb charter yacht, capable of carrying 30 guests, without losing her safety and strength as an icebreaker. The vessel was originally built to the highest specifications by the IHC Holland shipyard.The render underneath gives a good impression of the major scale of this refit.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/150545/image/large-33770854a615d3844c44e4de7b7726af.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/150545">Alongside the completion of the technical and system upgrades of this magnificent Icebreaker, extensive modifications to her exterior will be made. The stern will be extended by 3.6 metres and will be equipped with a swim platform and a swimming pool. The helicopter landing pad will be commercially certified and a submarine will be stored in a garage on the forward deck.The project is being managed by Verkerk Yachting Projects, the design and the engineering is performed by DIANA Yacht Design and she will be fully Lloyds certified (Solas passenger yacht 30 pax ). Legend will be used for adventurous charters in the remote areas of the world, such as Antarctica, Greenland and the North Pole. Major refit project for Diana Yacht Design and ICON Yachts

The yacht, which has an excellent charter reputation, boasts a contemporary interior with outstanding features including a huge open main saloon with dining area for 26. She sleeps 26 guests in eight double cabins and four twin cabins. The 70 metre converted charter yacht Sherakhan

Alexander Reinsch of Dahm International is now offering the beautiful Lady Thuraya, ex Borkum Riff 2, for sale. She has had a major refit by Verkerk Yachting Projects, that took 18 months to complete. During the refit every onboard system was replaced or renewed.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/137960/image/large-e2387d85fe5b2769d3e476f22270bb77.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/129988"><a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1841" data-legacy="true" href="#managed-by-application">Lady Thuraya</a> is a 31 metre, 1982 German built superyacht, that offers luxury accommodation for up to 8 guests. She features a large aft master cabin, a double cabin, and two cosy bunk cabins. There is room for 5 crew in 2 cabins in the bow.Her interior is modern and bright, and above all, very spacious for a yacht this size. Her exterior features classic lines, and a new teak deck.
