Italian yard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1364" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Permare s.r.l. (Company)">Permare&nbsp;</a>has announced that the second hull of its Amer Cento model, expected to be completed this year, has arrived in the shipyard. <img src="/uploads/store/photo/60474/image/large-d4ed51e6c166ce6417c1d1ba1113b497.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/60474">Measuring 29.6-metres and with exterior design and naval architecture by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1365" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Verme Projects (Company)">Verme Projects</a>, Amer Cento 100/16 will be able to reach a maximum speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots and is powered by four Diesel IPS1200 engines. Construction update: The 30m yacht Amer Cento 

The first Amer 110 currently under construction is nearing completion with the Italian shipyard today having announced that she is on schedule for a spring 2017 launch. This one-off yacht is being built for a repeat client who has over the past five years purchased an Amer 92’ and Amercento yacht.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/163719/image/large-a1e0196821cb62c966ed6877ac426a45.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/163719">The yacht’s interior is said to be very similar to that of the client's previous two yachts.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/163720/image/large-e82a401b67bc1e05b50344bf76624309.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/163720">The Amer 110 will officially be presented during the Cannes and Genoa boat shows this year.

First Amer 110 superyacht nearing completion

The third hull in the Amer 94 series from Amer Yachts, part of the Italian Permare group, has been sold in an in-house deal. Featuring naval architecture from Massimo Verme and an interior from Stefano Tini, she is currently in the first phase of construction and will be moved to Viareggio in January.

Named Save The Sea, she is scheduled for completion in July 2017 whereafter she will attend both the Cannes and Genoa boat shows later in the year. The Amer 94 has been specifically designed for the use of Volvo’s revolutionary Penta IPS propulsion system. Combined with smart naval architecture, this allows the 94 to reach double the maximum speed of a displacement hull, with decreased levels in noise, emissions and vibrations.

Amer Yachts tells SYT that she features a four cabin layout and is being built for an experienced client who commissioned the build following sea trials on board one of Save The Sea’s sisterships. The team comment: “Limited production of just a few units per year permits Amer Yachts to retain the high standard of luxury and well finished detail our boats are known for. This marks the difference between an Amer yacht and a serial production boat, between a family business and an industrial company.”

Also currently under construction at Amer Yachts is the new Amer 110, also scheduled for delivery in 2017.

Third Amer 94 superyacht takes shape at Permare

Italian design studio, Verme Projects, have released details of their latest superyacht concept, the Sea Arrow 98. One of the notable features of the vessel will be vast outdoor spaces.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/151102/image/large-db8098ddc8af23071d41496aa3072c2c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/151102">The exterior and interior layouts are both strictly linked with long, arched fashion plates, a trademark design feature of the company since 2004. Verme Projects comment, “our new megayacht concept based on a perfect harmony between sporty lines, and elegant proportions.”<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/151103/image/large-90737816f5f4c4066067672efc7f9a5a.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/151103">The owner will enjoy a private balcony on board the vessel. The area of more than 8 metres in length will ensure privacy to enjoy the spectacular views and a relaxing exterior area. Earlier in May 2014 BSD Yachts in Viareggio launched the 32.25-metre superyacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/3710" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Blue Berry32.25m (105'10&quot;)Benetti Sail Division2014">Blue Berry</a>. Designed by Verme Projects, the intent was to re-invent the classical canoe stern BSD displacement yachts in a modern but long-lasting style.
