<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/3255" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard (Company)">Gold Coast City Marina and Shipyard (GCCM)</a> has released post-refit images of the 34.18-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/60" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Alloy Yachts (Company)">Alloy</a> motor yacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/65" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Akiko34.18m (112'2&quot;)Alloy Yachts2007">Akiko</a>, following the completion of an extensive four-month project at its Australian facility.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/365936/image/large-bcc5121d1fa6b41aabdcf1d2a22c708c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/365936">The refit was managed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8317" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="BM Consulting (Company)">Baily Marine Yacht Consulting</a>, who coordinated the works at <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/3255" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard (Company)">GCCM</a>. This included a comprehensive service of the air-conditioning system, main engine intake upgrades, and routine tender maintenance consisting of antifouling and polishing. &nbsp;<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/365935/image/large-97018b05c1c923aac6977696a9b61d8f.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/365935"> Significant deck modifications included the installation of a new <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1824" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Opacmare SpA (Company)">Opacmare</a> transformer lift. The project was designed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6786" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Periscope Naval Architects (Company)">Periscope Naval Architects</a> and installed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8311" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lumark Pty Ltd (Company)">Lumark</a>, with upper-deck alterations incorporated to optimise functionality.Interior upgrades featured a refit of the owner’s stateroom and conversion of manual sliding doors to fully automated electric systems, completed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8307" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Workshop 28 (Company)">Workshop 28</a>. Soft furnishings throughout, both interior and exterior, were refreshed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8309" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Pacific Trim (Company)">Pacific Trim</a>, while <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8310" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Wrap It Marine (Company)">Wrap It Marine</a> handled vinyl repairs and interior detailing enhancements.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/365934/image/large-2606dba42be9faed64b1ad7664fab19e.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/365934">On deck, the aft teak was upgraded by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8312" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Timber by Design (Company)">Timber by Design</a>, who also contributed to swim platform modifications. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8308" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sweep Marine Services (Company)">Sweep Marine Services</a> performed tank maintenance and a full repaint of the aft lazarette, applying a new paint system to all bilges throughout the vessel.Mechanically, the refit included engineering works on the generators by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8313" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Transmarine Asia Pacific (Company)">Transmarine Asia Pacific</a>, running gear maintenance by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8306" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Watson Marine Engineering (Company)">Watson Marine Engineering</a>, and comprehensive electrical upgrades executed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8304" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Coastal Marine (Company)">Coastal Marine</a>.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/365933/image/large-900ce9bf6d06f56b1690595ae06c3828.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/365933">Additional contributions from <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/3647" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Superyacht Solutions (Company)">Superyacht Solutions</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8560" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Wise Boatbuilding (Company)">WiseBoatbuilding</a> were integral to the overall refit.
