Launched shortly before the latest Monaco Yacht Show in September, the 41.5 metre superyacht Serenity has completed her inaugural transoceanic voyage en route to the upcoming Dubai International Boat Show where she will be on display. Constructed by the Italian shipyard Mondomarine, the all-aluminium vessel was designed by Luca Vallebona with interiors undertaken in collaboration with SFL Line, and is part of the yard’s SF line.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/158491/image/large-6cdf3a49b77f81604a6a37027efe3ec4.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/156280">Serenity left Mondomarine’s facilities in Savona on 20th January, and sailed across the Mediterranean Sea, passing Messina and reaching the Suez Canal a week later. After a stop at Salalah in Oman on 5th February, she arrived in Dubai on February 9th. The complete journey measured a distance of 4,500 miles.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/158492/image/large-b00a14c636295eadf56556fc63f3a076.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/156281">Up to 10 guests are accommodated on board, with a double-level master suite forward on the upper deck being one of her highlights. After having had her on display at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, Imperial Yachts have announced that the 60 metre Lürssen built superyacht Arkley has been sold. Imperial was involved in the yacht’s operations since the construction period at the shipyard, and following the delivery of the yacht, acted as operational manager and Central Agent for charter before becoming exclusive agent for the sale of the yacht.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/157375/image/large-8ec51a9c648af1987a41bf3e4fe4debf.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/157375">Arkley was launched in 2009 at the German shipyard and was awarded the World Superyacht of the Year trophy in 2010. Imperial has announced the sale of the first hull in Amels’ 199 Limited Edition series, the 60 metre Event, launched in 2013. Imperial’s involvement in the yacht stretches as far back as the construction phase, and as exclusive Central Agent for the sale, acted on behalf of the buyer during negotiations. Constructed entirely out of aluminium, she features a 62 metre high mast and a sailing area of 1900 m2.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/157180/image/large-1dfffbfd4c048b14e7e8c6f245090369.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/157180">She accommodates up to eight guests on board over four spacious and comfortable rooms, all with en suite facilities. The master stateroom is particularly impressive, with a California King bed on the portside and sitting area to starboard. This area also features his and hers bathrooms, one with a steam shower and one with a tub, as well as access to a private deckhouse and cockpit from the stateroom. Brokerage deal of the week: the 54.64m superyacht Marie

Turkish shipyard Sunrise Yachts has announced that another 45 metre superyacht project is currently under construction at their facilities in Antalya. The announcement follows in the wake of the two previously delivered 45 metre yachts; Africa which was built in 2009, and Atomic, which was built in 2014 and has been selected as a finalist in the prestigious World Superyacht Awards later this year.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/152956/image/large-722e153e243a94b2a4b74a3b5316dcaa.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/152757">The Sunrise 45 metre is a luxurious full-displacement motor yacht offering remarkable volumes at 499 GT, and unusual deck heights. Burger Boat Company’s Sycara IV presented World Superyachts Award

Heesen Yachts is proud to announce that on May 22nd in London’s Guildhall their yachts Celestial Hope and Blind Date were each awarded with a Neptune trophy, the highest recognition a yacht builder could hope to receive. The 47-metre Heesen, <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/56">Celestial Hope</a> wins the ‘Semi-displacement or Planing Motor Yacht of over 40-metre Length’ category. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/131391/image/large-5da42eaaaae424d9e416c7822afc41f9.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/131391">In the words of the Jury, the overwhelming majority of whose members were superyacht owners, “This category produced a very fine selection of finalists, most of whom were well established series-production designs, whose detailed design and construction quality had been refined over the course of previous builds. The judges rewarded the combination of extremely high quality of construction, an attractive interior design by Intarya and the interesting interior layout of the Heesen-built 47-metre.” The 46.70-metre Heesen <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1269">Blind Date</a> takes the prize for ‘Displacement Motor Yacht Below 500 Gross Tons’. The Judges’ Report stated: “This class contained seven finalists, five aluminium-built yachts and two constructed from composite that were built by leading yards in three continents. Tamsen’s first superyacht nominated for World Superyacht Award

The Meteor team, Royal Huisman Shipyard, Dykstra &amp; Partners Naval Architects, J/G Alden Design and John Munford Design, where proud to receive the Awards at the, by Boat International initiated, event in Venice. Winner Sailing Yacht Exterior Styling The recreation of an authentically classic style, while using modern technology and providing modern amenities, is not a straightforward task, especially when the modern high-tech element of the yacht must remain in the background. Dykstra &amp; Partners has become an expert in this field while working on J-Class and other sailing yachts from past eras, and the judges felt that their outstanding work on Meteor was well deserving of this award. Winner Sailing Yacht in the 45m+ size range While Meteor is, in appearance, a classic yacht, everything else about her is completely state-of-the-art, from her carbon fibre spars and standing rigging to her sails controls and machinery. On top of the excellent performance shown in her polar diagrams, the judges admired the perfection of her design, both interior and exterior and the superlative quality of her construction. Schooner Meteor Inspired by the owner's love for the Gloucester Schooners, Meteor is a traditional Schooner for the experienced sailor and marine entrepreneur designed and built to the latest yachting standards. Comfortable and performance orientated. Her design was based on the Dykstra &amp; Partners designed Borkumriff IV, also built at Royal Huisman Shipyard. Meteor has a tradional Schooner rig but constructed from carbon fibre to enhance her sailing performance.
