Built by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/12" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="CRN (Company)">CRN</a> in 2022, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/7207" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="RIO62.0m (203'5&quot;)CRN2022">Rio</a> is a custom-built yacht, with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, that can comfortably cruise at 12 knots. The yacht's striking exterior is the work of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/55" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Omega Architects (Company)">Omega Architects</a>, characterised by a near-vertical bow, which gives <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/7207" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="RIO62.0m (203'5&quot;)CRN2022">Rio</a> a distinctive profile. Inside, the vessel's interiors were styled by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4774" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Pulina Exclusive Interiors (Company)">Pulina Exclusive Interiors</a>, featuring an exotic atmosphere onboard with bright, lively bursts of colour.Accommodation onboard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/7207" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="RIO62.0m (203'5&quot;)CRN2022">Rio</a> is designed for up to 12 guests across six staterooms, including an owner's master suite and two full-beam VIP suites. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/7207" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="RIO62.0m (203'5&quot;)CRN2022">Rio</a>'s features include an elevator servicing all decks, a spa pool on the owner's deck, a beach club, and a cinema zone on the wheelhouse deck. Performance-wise, the 1,190 GT superyacht is powered by twin <a href="https://sya.superyachttimes.com/companies/caterpillar-inc" target="_blank">Caterpillar</a> 3512C diesel engines of 1,672 horsepower each, allowing her to reach a top speed of 15 knots.

The 2nd annual <a href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Caribbean Charter Yacht Show - 2022">Caribbean Charter Yacht Show</a> drew to a close this weekend at <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/806" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Yacht Haven Grande Marina (Company)">Yacht Haven Grande Marina</a> in St Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The four day event, dedicated to serving the needs of charter and yacht brokers, ran from 8 to 11 December welcoming brokers and clients from around the globe. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/251635/image/large-05a239fb7aed042350c32be355a883dd.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/251635">The 2022 <a href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Caribbean Charter Yacht Show - 2022">Caribbean Charter Yacht Show</a> saw almost 100 brokers and managers flock to the fourth time destination winner of ‘Superyacht Marina of Year,’ with attendance of yachts up by 30 percent from last year.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/251642/image/large-22b5f018e1199be6a821736df06c470a.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/251642">The show is held in partnership with the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6362" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="IYBA (Company)">International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA)</a> and COO Paul Flannery was impressed with the 2022 outcome. “We are all quite pleased with the results of this year's show.
