Yachting Ideas recently send us the designs of the Pelican 80, an 80 feet planning motor yacht designed to be built in composite, with sporty lines and an attractive design. The yacht features a nearly vertical bow, and a deep V hull, that allows it to tackle even rough seas.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/137802/image/large-cf0db319f5b92687cd33e0d6b90f026a.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/137802">Yachting Ideas' Gianluca Tramonti explains: "We tried to find a different way of design, detaching from the classical patterns of yacht design. The crucial points that characterize this boat are definitely the new shape of the sheer line and the design of the canopy located above the superstructure. The aesthetics of the yacht is extremely dynamic ,the shape of the superstructure has a very elegant and sporty profile and helps to make the deck lowered despite the heights." <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/137803/image/large-c0a76ed30f6bd94e6433a496d286b9a6.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/137803">Inside, we find a large main saloon, with plenty of large windows overlooking the sea. Outside, two guest area's are located forward of the superstructure, ofeering a large sunpad, and a seating area that overhangs the large swimplatform. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/137804/image/large-9736586b7adba5e92fe74a55b141fd6b.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/137804">Down below there are 3 double cabins: the VIP stateroom forward and two symmetrical cabins in the center of the hull. Each cabin offers a large bathroom and plenty of storage space. Gianluca is an architect, he has been studying in Milan and has obtained multimediale specialization in New York. Matteo is an engineer who spend many years working for worldwide companies.
