After spending the last two seasons cruising in Central America, Driftwood is set to bring her signature surfing to the sun-soaked waters of Fiji this summer. She offers an experience of a lifetime perfect for those seeking something a little more adventurous than the average yacht charter.Built in 2017 by Dutch shipyard Amels as part of the LE 180 series, Driftwood features exterior design by Tim Heywood and interior design by Remi Tessier, while Damen Yachting penned her naval architecture. Remi Tessier committed to a chic “beach house” interior style, with panoramic windows sprawled throughout for plenty of natural light, and rooms that merge seamlessly with outdoor spaces. The contemporary main saloon offers plenty of seating and entertaining options, with a bar, sofas, and a formal dining table for eight. White furnishings nicely contrast the warm lighting and golden decor, creating a welcoming ambience.Driftwood’s five-stateroom configuration is able to comfortably sleep up to 12 guests, all of which are easily convertible. The full-beam master suite benefits from a walk-in wardrobe, a separate office, and a drop-down private balcony.Driftwood is perfect for those seeking fun and adventure onboard. She offers an impressive array of tenders and toys, including a 19-metre chase boat, scuba equipment, and a slide from the sundeck to the sea, enabling guests to turn the sea into their very own personal playground. Her highly energetic crew of 13 have plenty of watersports and adventure cruising experience, with a surf instructor among the crew to enable both novices and pros to enjoy the insane collection of surfboards. Driftwood's sweeping sundeck contains an open-air cinema, a bar, and Jacuzzi, perfect for winding down after a long day of water activities. There is ample seating spread across her three decks, with sunbeds for tanning, outdoor sofas for lounging, and a shaded alfresco dining area. Her upper deck features large sofas and bespoke fire pit tables that light up the sky at cocktail hour.Performance-wise, the 707 GT motor yacht is powered by twin MTU engines, giving her a top speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots. Driftwood is currently available for charter with Y.CO from $340,000 per week.
