This weekend, the largest Feadship to date was transported through Holland's waterways, to the Royal Van Lent shipyard in Kaag, where she will be finished. The 101.5 metre superyacht (hull 808) will be the largest yacht ever to be built in The Netherlands. In fact, the yacht is so big, it did not fit through the locks at Gouda. The yacht arrived in sections, which were lifted on pontoons, and were moved over the lock, instead of through it. The locks and a bridge along the route are being widened, and will be large enough when the yacht is finished in 2014.
